That's a good price for petrol @bubbs. It's more expensive around here too and you have to shop around as Asda is no longer the cheapest like it used to be.
You've had a great holiday, who'd have thought you'd have such good weather in the middle of October!
Just go and enjoy yourself in Tuscany @Longwalker. Then find out the damage when you get back and take it from there. Life comes before SW every time in my book! 😁
That was an excellent box from Lidl @joedenise. You've struck lucky with that and last week's TGTG bag. 👍
I'll be having an off plan day tomorrow (except for breakfast) as I'm having a day in London with my friend. We're going to Kensington Palace so lunch and dinner will be whatever is available that I fancy.
Today's breakfast and dinner are a bit full of beans 🤣
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, baked beans (F), eggs (P)
L- LO hash (P, S, F), pickles (S)
D- sausage casserole (P, F, S), pasta (F)
Syns - 01 -
If I'd been going to group I would have picked up another one to put in the SOTW basket because they were all so good! They had 5 or 6 boxes left and that was about 10.15 so not early.
Enjoy Kensington Palace tomorrow @maman. Whatever you eat I'm sure you will be back on plan after and shift whatever you put on.

Maman i know, doubt we will do much tomorrow as i am the wonky woman again 😫 so will just be mooching around and packing up for Friday.
This place we are staying literally has everything you need apart from a tumble drier as i was going to do all the washing and drying before i went home but i did a wash Monday evening and put on the airier and it's still not properly dry and we have had the fire on most evenings as it's chilly.
There is everything you need in the kitchen, from pots, pans, graters, pyrex dishes, pyrex bowls, roast tins, good sharp knives etc etc.
Bathroom and 2 bedrooms upstairs, bedroom and toilet downstairs, airier , dining area, 2 sofas, solid oak coffee table, side board, really lovely i'd come here again and recommend .

Morning all, have rejigged my menu plan to use up some of the veg from the Lidl box. Don't think I said yesterday but there were also parsnips and corn on the cob in there. So will be using both of those today.
The weather has definitely changed today! It started raining about 7am and it was fairly heavy - heavy enough to virtually fill one of the water butts which was completely empty! It's stopped now and it's supposed to stay dry until about 5pm but we'll see. Tomorrow looks absolutely awful though with very heavy rain all day.
Just waiting for a fridge engineer to come to fit the new fridge in the motorhome. He was due to be here at 9am but text about 8.30 to say the traffic was horrendous and hoping to be here by 9.45. I'm not surprised about the traffic as there are so many road works going on in our area that there are diversions left, right and centre!
Today's plan:
B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
L - parsnip and pear soup - S; F (both from the Lidl box)
D - Fakeaway KFC, chips, corn on the cob, baked beans (corn from the Lidl box) - P; F
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge oats
Syns - none planned but probably have a skinny whip and a couple of 0% G&Ts - 4.5
Have a good day everyone.
Edited to add: the engineer arrived about 9.40 so he had a good guess at how long it would take him!

Indeed he has @beanielou! The fridge is working on all 3 modes - electric, gas and 12 volt - just like it's supposed to! Took him longer than he expected as it's a fridge he's never worked on before! He used to do warranty work for this particular company but left when they introduced this particular series of fridges!
So we'll be getting away tomorrow after lunch as DH is waiting for a letter from the hospital and is hoping it will arrive tomorrow.
Right off to get dinner sorted!1 -
