Thanks Denise, just took off my phone.

Just seen the weather, supposed to be nice till about 4 then rain tomorrow, dry Thursday, wet Friday.

Lots of roads here where motorhomes and caravans can't go due to the inclines, when we left Lynton, i was worried about the hill of a road we had to go back up, but straight up in 1st 😂😂

It's a long way from Scotland @beanielou!  Not sure I'd want to travel that distance.

Loving the photos @bubbs OH and I have had many visits to the places you have mentioned many memories, we had 30 years living near the Dorset coast,  so Devon more accessible than now, lots of "fun" roads in Cornwall too, but worse as lots of stone walls not hedges.

WI tonight, lost the 2.5 lbs gained on holiday so very happy with that.

    Well done Maddie 👏👏

Yes there is alot of metal barriers and stone walls right on these bends they scare me to death, you can tell the locals by the way they drive, some come whizzing round and as the rds are narrow but come over your side, very scary!

Well done on your loss @maddiemay. 👏👏👏 You've done well to lose your holiday gain in just one week. 😁

I'm enjoying your holiday photos too @bubbs. Back in the day I had an aunt in Bideford and we could go for a day trip to Devon. There was a steamer from South Wales to Ilfracombe and my uncle would pick us up. Back then you could just stroll through Clovelly but DH and I went just before covid and now it's privately owned and expensive. ☹️

@beanielou, yes its so flipping easy to gain it back isnt it?  Ive promised myself once I get to Tuscany Im drinking wine and eating pizza , same as everyone, no diet mentioned. Then Ive also promised myself that when I get back to work, Im working my way through every tray bake, scone and cake we sell ( 3 weeks there and not a bite of one yet ), and I know thats 10lb straight back on lol

So I wont, but OMG I so want to :)

@bubbs - I remember those roads when I went to Woolacombe 30 years ago, and running on empty lol. 3 night break and it peed down the whole time :) Beautiful part of the country though

Not having a drink hasn't happened

TBH the wedding and the hassles of it all are at their height right now and Im feeling frazzled . Its silly things now, like I said to Mr L months back to get his suit into the cleaners, he decides to do it with two weeks to go and guess what?  Theres no dry cleaners in town anymore. So I search out the nearest, leave for work earlier , head out to the first - Closed down, second, demolished, 3rd - up to three weeks turn around as they send to Belfast.!!! Finally found one 20 miles away and they have promised Friday but the cost - its costing me more to clean a dress then I thought Id throw in then the dress cost !!!. Then because the Step Daughter has now dropped out and we were to stop there on the way to and from Dublin, Ive to book a hotel going out and suggested we stopped at the inlaws coming back, but will he ring and ask??? The house looks like a bombs hit it and I really cant be bothered. So I shall have to hit it running tomorrow night after work, Good thing is those two said sausages for tea so thats me out - not fussed on sausages, hate mash etc so Ill not waste syns on food I dont like

Rest of it Im staying on track though  , yoghurt, fruit and oat bran breakfast and usually something and salad for supper with a couple of baby bells to stave of me picking in work.

Afternoon all, where is everybody?  I'm sure @bubbs is out and about somewhere while the weather is still nice.  Not sure about Devon but we have a severe weather warning for the next 16 hours although there's no sign of any rain yet!

Been shopping again and got a really good Lidl £1.50 fruit and veg box - potatoes, pears, big bunch of bananas, corn on the cob, pak choi, asparagus, spring onions, peppers, mini peppers, cucumber, courgettes, a single tomato!  So plenty of SW friendly veg.  Am going to have to rejig my menu plan in order to use some of this up.  Looking at that lot I think there's definitely going to be a stir fry in there somewhere!

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette, beans - P; S; F
    L - gammon and salad stuffed WM pitta - HEB; P; S; F
    D - HM faggots, mash, veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - WM pitta
Syns - Skinny whip bar 4

Hope everyone is having a good day.

    Afternoon all

We went for a mooch at Banstaple then on to Woolacombe and got there today 🤣🤣 on proper roads not the tracks we went on last time, then spotted petrol at £1.49 so filled up for coming home Friday, that is the lowest we have seen it and cheaper than home, £1.56 at home.

Didn't have any breakfast and then was hungry to had a tuna mayo baguette , very nice it was too 😂😂

I am having, ham, egg and chip salad for tea.

Obligatory photos to follow of Woolacombe , was chilly but they have a beautiful beach .

Denise i think tomorrow is supposed to be just cloudy will listen to weather later
