Afternoon all, where's the morning gone!  Didn't help that I didn't get up until 8 this morning but obviously needed the sleep as definitely feel better for the extra hour or so.  So it was a later than usual breakfast and then out shopping and only been back about half hour.  Just having a cuppa and then I'll be getting lunch ready.

Wondering where everybody else is though!  I can't be only one who overslept!

    So today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach, toast - HEB; P; S
    L - fig and feta salad - HEA2; S
    D - chicken curry, rice - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - feta
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but may have a Skinny dream bar or similar later 3

Have a good (rest of the) day!

    Food plan for today is:

B - mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled egg and some leftover watercress
L - pea and ham soup
D - Sardines on toast (HEB) plus salad

I'm going to make some SW humous later and have that with raw veggie crudités.

    Afternoon!

I’m in the office again today so haven’t been able to get on until now. The cheek of it!

You obviously needed the extra rest @joedenise!

I didn’t have any frozen fruit to make overnight oats so breakfast was the melon and mango fingers I bought for the quiz night and didn’t eat. Except they were BB 1 October and the melon was fizzy. I ate the 4 mango fingers and then had a banana.

Lunch was LO Chinese chicken curry with 2 satsumas. I am feeling jaded with a sore throat. Bought some wafers from the canteen which are 11.5 syns but worth it! Dinner tonight is peanut butter chicken pasta which is 1 syn and I might forgo the hi fi bar on the train – we’ll see!

New job have just sent offer and onboarding paperwork through – will look later or tomorrow. DH and I are off to the cinema tonight to see Murder in Venice (Poirot). He has a great time away, fresh air, walking, pub lunches, beer! Did him good as he WFH 5 days a week and misses socialising. Obviously I’m around but it’s not the same lol!

    Hope you’re okay @bubbs x

We came back home yesterday, a day early as the high cross winds forecast for today were concerning.
Back on plan today and quite expecting to be out of range and do the walk of shame if I go to WI tonight, have a dry throat so considering not going, hoping it does not develop into a cold - or worse, will see in an hour or so.
Maddeningly OH has lost 2 Lbs. how dare he!

🤞 it won't be too bad @maddiemay. At least you've drawn a line.

I'm glad you have a snack lined up for later @MrsPorridge. I don't think sardines on toast would be enough for my dinner.

Shame there was such a short date on the mango @Coxy11. What are these wafers from the canteen. They sound very decadent and synful. 😁

The day ran away with me too @joedenise, not helped by being stuck into my book! 😁

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA 1 milk for drinks
    L- beef and vegetable soup (P, F, S)
    D- Austrian ham hash (P, F, S, HEA 2 cheese topping ), cauliflower, broccoli, cabbages (S)
    Syns - 0

The SW humous was amazing - so nice.  I added a bit of smoked paprika to it, but will add more next time I make it.

Also had another snack which was some meringue nests which DH got when he bought the chickpeas for the humous.  I had one of those (2.5 syns) with loads of FF yoghurt, banana and berries.  Was so nice to have a sweet "hit" with the meringue.

This is what I did today. I was supposed to go out to do my weekly food shopping but I didn’t feel like it. So instead I went down to a local food store. At least I now have bread, meat, eggs, butter, cheese, white wine and two new small bottles of fresh milk.
