Morning all,
Definitely whizz the oats up @MrsPorridge - it'll make all the difference
We had the bolognaise risotto last night. 3 generous portions, then DH went back for more and STILL 3 portions left. DH will have it for lunch today and I've frozen 2 for work lunches. Tonight is mozzarella, tomato and chilli pasta which I know from experience always makes loads so will adapt the recipe.
I am dosing up as sore throat has now abated but the sniffles and cough are here. I was up at 1.30am getting water and taking tablets, blowing my nose etc. Very annoying.
WFH today and food will be:
B - Weetabix choc melts, blueberries, strawberries, 0% fat vanilla yog - HEB, S, 0.5
L - LO chicken biryani from the freezer, 2 satsumas, apple - Free, S
D - mozzarella, tomato and chilli pasta - Free, HEA
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus 0.5 = 3.5 total

Morning all, it seems much darker than usual this morning at this time. Still it will be even worse once we get to the end of the month and the clocks go back and then we'll know it really is the start of winter! I hate the cold weather so quite happy with the relatively warm temperatures at the moment.
Nothing really planned for today although will need to shove the vacuum round but other than that and cooking not much to do. Don't think there's any washing to do today for a change as did the bedding yesterday and got it dried on the line.
@Coxy11 glad to hear the throat's a bit better but really annoying about the sniffles and cough. Hope that clears up quickly.
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
L - jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad - P; S; F
D - Basque style salmon stew - P; S; F; 2 (new recipe I'm trying - its a BBC Good Food recipe - https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/basque-style-salmon-stew) - only making half recipe as don't think it would freeze and of course we may not like it!
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - tsp olive oil 2; will probably have a skinny whip mini 1.5
Have a good day everyone.0
