Sounds like some bargains there @Jellybaby - ticktock to having to cover for colleagues. Not long now!!! Lol about a run on figs!!!
I didn't have the Ryvita at lunchtime as filled up my plate with lambs lettuce, tomatoes, fresh pickled beetroot (as still can't find any in Aldi), 3 figs and 65g of feta. Was very nice and saved myself 3 syns so now looking to use those on something else as 1 syn is too low, even for me!Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0 -
What a star @Jellybaby. As you said, obviously well trained both for mse and SW! 👍
No large jars of beetroot in our Aldi either @Coxy11, just overpriced Baxters. I picked some up in Home Bargains if you have one locally. 🤔0 -
@maman yes I am using 1HEA for milk each day. The leek and potato bake was lovely, really tasty. The receipe call for nutmeg and really it made a difference to it. It also said to use emanthal cheese - I think next time I will use the reduced fat mature cheddar which I think will be tastier and I can also use a bit more.Debt free and Keeping on Track0

Morning all, have decided to bite the bullet and go back to group this morning after about a month away. I've only had one off plan day (had almost double the syns!) but mainly on plan the rest of the month. It doesn't look like I've lost much, if anything, by my scales so hoping it's at least STS but we'll see.
Popped into M&S Foodhall yesterday for a couple of bits and picked up a 0% fat greek yoghurt (not the greek style one) and it was really lovely and creamy. Unfortunately they only had the one tub on the shelf so may well pop in again after group to see if they've got some more. It was as thick as quark but much nicer. The biggest tub they do though is 500ml and we get through at least 2Kg a week with our fruit and yoghurt supper habit! Even more if I'm making butter chicken or something like that which needs marinading in spiced yoghurt.
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - toasted cheese sandwich, tomatoes, pickles including HM tomato and chilli jam - HEA2; HEB; S; F
D - lasagne, salad, followed by baked cinnamon pears, yoghurt - P; S; F; 3.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - baked pear 3.5 (need to check on the syns for that but someone posted the recipe on our Facebook page and put that was how much they were - will check the book myself at group this morning!)
Back later with what the damage is! Have a good day everyone.
