I think all the excitement is getting to you @bubbs. I think you meant to say persevere or as @beanielou would say keep plodding! 🤣

Well done on your pound @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏

A Brioche bun is 9 syns so 4.5 used there. It's hard to say about the burgers as it may not be 5% mince. 🤔

Well done @bubbs and @Jellybaby - fab losses xx

I put on 0.5lb so now 1lb out of target range. It will be mine next week. Went to Canterbury to visit DS2 and had lunch out. I chose a Buddha bowl with raw red pepper, sweet gem lettuce, edamame beans, sugar snap peas, pickled red cabbage and quinoa. I had soda and lime to drink. Going to have SW carbonara for dinner 👍🏻 I’ve got a food diary sheet for this week - hoping it makes a difference!

Well done @Jellybaby on your lb loss.  It all counts!

Quarter pound burgers tend to be around 8 syns each so I'd definitely be counting around that (assuming the 2 patties were small ones rather than 1/4 lb ones).  Like @maman I doubt they would have been 5% mince - more likely 20% mince, it's certainly what my DD1s chef partner uses!

It makes a huge difference if the family support you with SW @MrsPorridge. No need to cook separate meals for a start. Make sure you do use syns though. You could have had something with your diet coke last night if you wanted. Spirits are quite low syn (mostly 3 for a single measure). I looked at your menu for today, and hope it was a wholemeal muffin with your breakfast. A white one would be 8.5 syns. I realise you'll have to eat up what's in the house but don't make the same mistake as I did. Light mayo is 2 syns per tbsp whereas the Lighter than Light is only half a syn! Personally I'd be picking at some of DH's pork (lean meat not crackling) when you're out. I enjoy a hog roast but hate the tasteless rolls that tend to come with them, same goes for burgers and hot dogs.

Yes wholemeal muffin!  And I did have some of DH's pork from the hog roast, no stuffing, no bread and no apple sauce!

@Coxy11 - you'll soon shift that lb.  I always find when I do a diary sheet that I lose, quite often 1.5lb.  No idea why because I always keep track of what I'm having on the online diary sheet and still manage to put on or only lose a measly 1/2lb!

That cheese bake thing doesn't look particularly big @bubbs - I thought it was a sharing thing - at least that's what it says on the box!  It certainly doesn't look big enough to share to me!

Denise, it says to share, but i couldn't share 😂 i know probably TMI but i have incredible wind(and the giggles for admitting it) 🤣🤣 it can only be that that has given me it as the only different thing i have had.

Coxy you will soon get back in range

I think the cheese bake is probably to shsre as a starter @bubbs. Do you think you'll have it again? 🤔

I'm the same with a food diary @joedenise. Maybe it's writing it down that makes the difference. I keep a running total of syns on mine so it's there in black and white. I'm doing one this week as WI is getting close.

Hope it works for you too @Coxy11. You can do this. 🤞
