Thanks all for your encouragement and ideas.  Its really useful for me to see what you have all been eating.

DH is being brilliant when we went out last night he had a pint and bought me a diet coke!  He does listen to me sometimes.  But, its really handy that he is on board.  I also did quite a bit of dancing so have filled out my activity log which I didn't think I would be doing - just goes to show!

I've worked out my plan for today

B muffin toasted (HEB) with sliced tomatoes
L hard boiled egg salad with low fat mayo (using syns) - am going to take this to the sea shanty festival and eat it surreptiously :)  They are serving hog roast and DH will have one of them. Luckily I am not that bothered about hog roast (but its a good test for me as I am so determined)   I will use my syns for a glass of wine or small bottle of prosecco.
D jacket spud with baked beans and low fat cheese (HEA) and salad without dressing
    Snacks fruit

I've also measured my milk out for today just to see how much I use - don't think I will go over the allowance for HEA - I don't have cereal and if I have porridge I always use water.
Great your DH is on board for you.

Don't do yourself out of food though , plenty of free and speed foods if you are hungry, you should never be starving as that's when you think f it and fall off the plan

So pleased for you @bubbs. And a new number on the scales as well. That's brilliant! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Many congratulations on your new job @Coxy11. Such a relief to have something lined up and closer to home too. You obviously impressed at interview👍🏼. Prosecco isn't a bad choice compared with other wines. The one I have (Aldi) is 24 syns a bottle. Not sure about the crisps though. 😉🤣

I've managed to get three loads out on the line today @joedenise. I hadn't done any washing for a week. I can tell by counting the pants! 🤣

Batch cooking Bolognese this afternoon while listening to the football. We're away, playing the bottom team in the league so 🤞🏼 we might win at last.

It makes a huge difference if the family support you with SW @MrsPorridge. No need to cook separate meals for a start. Make sure you do use syns though. You could have had something with your diet coke last night if you wanted. Spirits are quite low syn (mostly 3 for a single measure). I looked at your menu for today, and hope it was a wholemeal muffin with your breakfast. A white one would be 8.5 syns. I realise you'll have to eat up what's in the house but don't make the same mistake as I did. Light mayo is 2 syns per tbsp whereas the Lighter than Light is only half a syn! Personally I'd be picking at some of DH's pork (lean meat not crackling) when you're out. I enjoy a hog roast but hate the tasteless rolls that tend to come with them, same goes for burgers and hot dogs.

    Today's EE pan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F)
    L- Spanish omelette (P,S,F), ham (P), pickles (S)
D- liver, bacon and onions (P,S), potato cubes (F), mushrooms, tomatoes, green stuff (S)
    Syns- weekend wine😁

I'm exactly the same @maman - know how many days it is by the number of pants on the line - and socks in winter!

Good luck for a win for your team this afternoon.

I'm taking a leaf out of your book for dinner tomorrow night and making the HB braised steak but will have to pop to the butchers first thing tomorrow to buy the braising steak as forgot today while we were out!  DH decided while we were out that he fancies a fig and feta salad for lunch tomorrow so that means I need to buy some mixed leaves and cucumber as well.  Still got plenty of tomatoes - picked another takeaway boxful this morning plus a huge beef tomato!

Think it's getting to the stage where I'll probably end up picking all the green tomatoes off the plants and making some chutney with them.  Can then lift all the plants and compost them.

Massive woohoos to @Coxy11  and @bubbs 🎉🥳🎉 fab loss and well done on the new job x

One off for me this week, as usual I wanted ten 🤣🤣 but one will do haha.   Was out for lunch with the boys and had a burger with salad and chips. Not my usual choice but want to shake things up a bit. Didn’t have the chips and only half the bun. Any ideas how many syns I should count for half a brioche bun, two large patties I’m assuming were fried and some dressing on salad?  The cheese will be HEA.
