Denise, glad you managed to get another date.
I actually won 5 raffle prizes, a set of 3 ceramic roasters, a xmas tree dish, a pack of 21 assorted plastic tubs and lids, a wax burner and melts, a mini xmas pudding , the xmas pudding was a wrapped prize, i picked the others myself.
Longwalker, i wouldn't worry about a little gain over Xmas, if you are 2 below you have 5 to play with and a grace week, i always gain 4/5lbs, i am on plan the majority of he rest of the year so have what i want within reason. But i have slipped more out of bottom end so i have 9lbs a grace week to play with 🤣 hopefully will only be 4/5 gain.
DH wanted to go other town after group, it was quieter than normal!! This also meant going CS, what bargains i got!!
I got 2 packs ham 20p each
2 packs chicken with stuffing in, 40p each
Melton mowbry pork pie 20p
Yelo valley 0% faft free yoghurt big tubs 60p,
Pack of peppers 10p
2 x 2 pinters milk 10p each
M&S cooked chicken breasts x 3 25p each
Wenslydale cheese with cranberries to try 35p................oh my it's lovely and not a hexa, glad i only got one 🤣🤣

bubbs I'm glad your friend got her wish to be buried before Christmas. Definitely will make it even a wee bit easier for you all rather than waiting for a funeral over the holidays. Good that you had giggles with your mum.
Had 6 pages to read through so well done on the losses and I managed to gain 1lb this week. Had a few blips along the way that week so I was disappointed but not overly surprised. Usually I only have a bit of fruit on WI day so that may have had a bearing because we had work xmas lunch. I managed to just get peri peri chicken strips with salad. Have still avoided all the chocs, mince pies. Crisps, nuts, shortbread etc in work.
Of course, because I had put on that pound then met friends for dinner, I kind of blew it. I'm always an 'all or nothing' person so after my very disappointing dinner (left friends to order while I dropped dd2 home and they ordered the wrong thing), and even more disappointing dessert (went for the froyo which was like watery ice cream) I helped my friend to polish off the last bit of her cheesecake. Then got a tub of B&J on the way home and ate half with some lentil crisps. Could have been worse and have been on plan since.
Been eating fairly well. Dinner is mainly cous cous with lots of salad and some 40% less fat feta from Asda. Absolutely love it. A wee drizzle of hot chilli sauce and lemon juice on top. Only hexa and 1 syn for dinner.
Hexb sugar puffs of course. The odd babybel lite with grapes as snacks.
Managed to get out for two runs since WI too. Got some lovely comments at parkrun today from my friends who really noticed the weight loss. So that was a good boost. We get another parkrun on xmas day and I may get out for a wee solo run tomorrow as I'm off.

Very well done to all the losers today, especially @Jellybaby. 3lbs was amazing! 👏👏👏 And you had a NSV with compliments on your weightloss @NornironRose so all good. 👍
We're all going into Christmas in a good place. For what it's worth, my mantra is going to be that I enjoy the extra syns rather than eating mindlessly. For me it will be crisps and cheese (got to agree with you on the Wensleydale @bubbs 😋), wine on weekdays and chocolates of my choice.
I've been more or less on plan like a normal Saturday today. I made mince pies for DH today and did lick the spoon a few times as I love mincemeat but really not fussed about pastry.
Tomorrow will be much as today but I'll be having cauliflower cheese with gammon and won't worry if I use more than a HEA.
I'm getting organised for Christmas Day, some veg prepped already (potatoes and parsnips parboiled and frozen) and turkey will come out later to start defrosting. I'll miss my unheated conservatory next year when we have the extension. 🤔0 -
Oh well done Jelly, i missed that somehow x

So getting compliments for your weightloss matters as much as the numbers on the scales. 👍1
