    Morning all,

Very hard for you all @bubbs - glad there are some funny times to look back on re: your DDad xx
I too love an afternoon tea @beanielou but haven't had one in years - must remedy that.

Well..... I tested positive for Covid last night. Had a very strange day at work and at one point had to take myself outside the building into the gusty wind as I had palpitations and a spiking temperature. Got home and said to DH I'm going to test as we were meant to see Mum and other oldies tomorrow. Two strong lines. Could not make it up!! Have told work who are very supportive of me staying home (thank god) and we have cancelled our evening plans tonight, tomorrow's family meet up and hosting duties on Christmas Eve as I just feel so rough. Was up in the night with high temp, cough, stomach cramps and bad sinuses. Think taste has all but gone too.

I have no idea what today's food looks like but think eggs will be on the menu for breakfast, followed by lots of rest.
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

So sorry to hear that @Coxy11 - not a good time to catch Covid, well anytime isn't but particularly so close to Christmas.  It's a shame to not see family but you just can't now.  Best to wait until the New Year I would think especially the oldies.  Hope you don't feel rough for too long.

Another horrible wet day here, although it isn't raining.  But at least it doesn't look as windy as yesterday!

Glad you enjoyed your afternoon tea @beanielou.  We were going to have one when we were on the Isle of Wight a little while ago but the day we were going to go they'd had to shut unexpectedly due to illness so still not had one since I've been going to SW!

    Today's plan:

B - baked oats; frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, cherries); yoghurt - HEB; S; F
L - soup of some sort (need to check freezer but suspect it will be carrot & lentil!) - P; S
    D - meatloaf; mash; veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - no idea!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Thinking of you and your mum @bubbs but glad you can have a giggle too.  The boys and I talk of OH frequently and much laughter is always involved usually about his poor taste in jokes or the daft things he did!

Hope you're not too rough @Coxy11 rest and relaxation is just what you need 🥰

Turkey is coming out of the freezer at lunch time. I've written myself a note!  Planning on cooking that and the gammon joint on Sunday afternoon and prep the veggies.

Well, the wee angel almost turned last night but I took myself off to bed with my book - at 8.30pm 🤣🤣🤣

    Today's food:
B - toast (HEB), lemon curd 4 syns
    L - veggie omelette, pickles
    D - chicken curry, rice

No idea what WI will bring tomorrow, I'd love a loss but will happily take a STS. Hope you all have a good day.

@Coxy11 really hope you start to feel better soon.

I gained 1 lb at WI - surprised it wasn't more as I have lost the plot!  However, I am really going to try and maintain this week.
