  • Sorry to hear about your friend bubbs. Not an easy time for any of you.

I've been eating better and consequently feeling better. Had WI today at the new place. Lovely to see a few familiar faces and managed to lose 1.5 lbs!! So that is 1 st 3 lbs since joining SW 7 weeks ago.
Had a decent dinner but then got the munchies afterwards. Only have healthy snacks in and had only had some raw mushrooms all day so don't feel guilty at all.

Will continue to plan and eat. In bed now so can't do eggs or whatever for tomorrow but may take a few finn crisps to work with some chicken slices.
Already have the first tins of biscuits and chocs in work and will just have to make sure not to start!

Well done on your loss loss @NornironRose. 👏👏👏 Delighted for you. That's 2lbs+ a week! Excellent! 👍 Great idea to have something with you at work to avoid the Christmas goodies.

Sorry to hear about your friend @bubbs. Such a sad time. 🤗

Hope all goes well tomorrow @MrsPorridge. It'll be a long day.

I don't know where the time's gone today but have stayed on plan. Tomorrow is a different story as we're out for lunch and 3 courses ordered.

Morning all, it feels very cold and damp this morning so having the heating and our little ethanol fire on to warm it up a bit quicker.  I hate these cold mornings - roll on holiday in January and then the spring!

So sorry to hear about your friend @bubbs.  So hard for everyone and very sad.

Well done on your loss @NornIronRose.  You are going great guns and good to see that you're eating a bit more as well.  Keep it up.  It's definitely worth taking some SW friendly snacks into work with you at this time of year when there's always Christmas tins of sweets around - it's so easy to just pick at them.  I hated it at work as whenever it was someone's birthday or Christmas treats used to be put at the end of my desk as I was in the centre of the whole team (I was the secretary working to one of the Directors) - not a good place to be when there are lots of treats around as so easy to just pick at them.

Enjoy your meal out @maman.  I'm sure you'll have picked sensibly and will be straight back on plan tomorrow the same as usual!

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon and mushroom sandwich - HEB; P; S; 7
    L - stuffed peppers - HEA2; S; F
    D - beef stew, mash, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - low fat spread 2; WM bread 5 (still using up the Warburton!)

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all.

Well done on the loss @NornIronRose

Hope all goes as well as it can today @MrsPorridge

    Enjoy your meal @maman!

So sorry to hear about your friend @bubbs - MND is a cruel disease 😞

Going to be honest, brain is all over the place at the moment and can't seem to concentrate on anything for long.  But I am trying to stick to plan where I can.  Didn't end up having the veggie curry yesterday (had beans on toast instead) so that's today's lunch.  Breakfast was some porridge with blueberries and dinner is the last of my kimchi in a fried rice which will clear a large jar out of the fridge!

    Morning,

Hope today goes as well as it can @MrsPorridge

So very, very sorry to hear about your friend @bubbs

Great loss @NorthIronRose!   Enjoy lunch @maman!

WFH and it's one of 'those' days 😁 I was reading last night about the power of visualisation. I'm going to start a wee board and plan a new look!  It's long overdue and as well as finishing work it's a big birthday next year so another incentive 😄

    Today's food:
B - bran flakes (HEB), raspberries, yoghurt 0.5
L - lentil soup, chicken salad with homemade coleslaw 3 syns for salad cream
D - mince (with onions), potatoes, carrots, turnip, brussel sprouts

    Have a good day all.

    Good morning all,

    I hope today’s arrangements go okay @MrsPorridge – thinking of you x

Good news that the car passed the MOT @joedenise J

So sorry about your friend @bubbs, such a cruel disease. Just hope she is being taken good care of and is pain free xx

Great loss @NornIronRose. Agree that the office goodies are dangerous!

@Jellybaby exciting to be planning a new look J

I went to bed with a headache last night but still managed to sort overnight oats for breakfast today. Other food will be HM BNS/veg soup (not quite sure of the ingredients but all speed), 2 hard-boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes and a cheese portion. I also have an apple with me for an afternoon snack.

It’s Christmas jumper day today and I’m the only one in the office wearing one! Boss has a jumper with stars on which she bought en route to the office as forgot. Ms Moanalot has Christmas tree earrings hidden under her hair – hardly the same. Feels like they played a trick on the newbie – oh well, at least I tried to join in!

I have spent some time this morning in the day surgery unit - lovely staff there, and I’ll be back tomorrow for the breast theatre session, so they are going to help me into my scrubs and clogs! Now it’s nearly here I’m a little more excited aaargh!

Dinner tonight is mushroom risotto – looking forward to that.

You seem to be on top of taking meals for lunch in your new job @Coxy11. 👍

Love the idea of a new look @Jellybaby. What a brilliant idea to go along with your weightloss. I know one of the things that's motivated me to stay at target (along with the thread of course 😁) is being able to wear anything I want. No need for loose, baggy stuff and loads of black cover ups any more! 🤣

Room in the fridge is even better than room in the freezer @ruby_eskimo. So that's the kimchi jar emptied. DH is always amazed when we unpack the shopping how I manage to squeeze everything in!

Today's meal was OK. This one was in the same pub as we'd eaten last year with our walking group and certainly not as good. They'd obviously cut corners to cope with rising prices. I had a prawn cocktail with 7 measly prawns! Seven! ☹️ Christmas dinner was OK but minimal veg and a rather incongruous Yorkshire pudding plonked on it for obvious reasons. Cheeseboard was smaller than previously but I enjoyed the selection and just ate the cheese, grapes and celery stick. Wine was good! 🤣

So, loads of syns but it's just one meal and, like you said @joedenise, I'll be back on plan tomorrow.....until the next time. 😉
