    Morning all,

Yes Stepmum has always been testing @beanielou – not a lot I can do from here!!

Great post @Longwalker – agree with protein and speed first – I guess we learn to plan ahead where we can and be goodish when the situation dictates.

I often split my HEB choice @NornIronRose – 1 slice of WM with a hifi bar for instance. Works for me.

Foggy and damp this morning. Bus was busy due to a rail strike and the weather, but luckily I’m only 3 stops into the route, so guaranteed to get a seat! I am meeting our HR person today – will see what the process is, but can already tell it’s tough trying to recruit atm due to budgets – no change there!

    Food today:

    B – 2 x satsumas, Aldi croissant from home – S, 8

L – HM BNS soup, WM roll, cherry tomatoes, cheddar portion – S, HEB, HEA

D – Prawn, cherry tomato and chilli spaghetti – free

    HEA – milk

    Syns – 8 plus advent choc 3.5 – 11.5 total

I’m going to bring overnight oats tomorrow – have been avoiding them as have been bringing a WM wrap for lunch most days but will have to syn it tomorrow. Not sure what to do about breakfast on Friday as need to be in theatre for 7.45am eeek!

Why not leave the overnight oats until Friday @Coxy11?  Fairly easy to eat as and when I would have thought!  You could eat some before you go into theatre and finish off after.

Then for lunch have something like some boiled eggs, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber etc.

    Afternoon all

    Today's plan
    B scrambled eggs and watercress
L leftover S/W chicken nuggets with watercress and tomato and some SW potato wedges
    D veggie soup

We are getting up at 4am tomorrow and driving to London for MIL's funeral.  Once its over and we have had a bit of time with family we will then drive back.  I've booked a TL for us just outside London on the motorway for us to stay tomorrow night.  I've packed loads of SW friendly snacks to take with us.  Hoping to avoid any fast food outlets.

Pleased to say the car passed the MOT without needing any work doing to it so just the cost of the service and MOT to pay.  Think the hourly rate has gone up quite a bit since last year!

The boiler service was very reasonable at £60 which was less than I'd expected.  The previous guy who used to service our old boiler was charging £90 and that was 3 years ago so I dread to think who much he'd be charging now!

Hope the funeral goes as well as those things can @MrsPorridge.
