Wow that was good Denise, SW friendly for a change 😁
Rose, i honestly don't think it will be anything, my mum was worried because my dad passed away July😥😥, he was late being diagnosed with bowel cancer (through the hospital not through himself not going i might add) He was then taken ill with an infection last December , was in hospital from the 20th , then didn't leave till May time, went home, was home 10 days and ended up back in there , then went to a rehab place but never came home again 😥😥 and she was worried we were going to go through it all this Christmas, to boot me and dh had covid last year from just before Christmas to New Year 😫😫Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -

I can't imagine that going 0.5 syn over is going to help you gain those extra pounds @bubbs! 🤣
Good trawl on the TGTG bag @joedenise. Healthy Food! 🎉
That's good news for your mum @bubbs. The worse part is the waiting for test results

Still staying well in range even after a few treats each week. Pleased that you had a good holiday @joedenise and just a wee gain too. @Jellybaby I hope that you have managed to get some shopping by now. @Longwalker a grim evening, but duty done and wow to you looking so good and receiving a compliment. @Coxy11 well done on the loss, I hope that your dad can receive the treatment soon. @NornIronRose an extra day before WI is a bonus. @bubbs lovely food as usual it is fab that you can eat so much tasty grub and still lose weight, SW thinking is still not automatic with me yet, some days easier than others.@Mrbowie welcome.
There was a good covering of snow at 07:00 this morning, but it as mostly gone after a miserable morning of rain.

Morning all, very wet and miserable today! Still have loads of washing to do but going to leave it until tomorrow as it's supposed to be dry tomorrow. Thankfully the washing in the shower was dry this morning so showers could be had! Haven't checked the airer yet so that will be the next job after I've drunk my coffee!
I can understand why you don't want to put the full amount back on @bubbs with Christmas not far away when I suspect you think you're likely to put on loads! I don't usually put on much as it's just a glorified roast dinner on the day but that will not be the case this year unfortunately as DH had decided he wants beef wellington as well as the normal roast stuff and that includes pigs in blankets! Both the wellington and the pigs are in the freezer ready so not much needed other than the veg for Christmas now.
Today's plan:
B - porridge, fruit (I had grapes, blueberries and raspberries) - HEB; S; F
L - spicy carrot and lentil soup (will be chopping up a bit of the coriander I got yesterday on top of it too!) - P; S; F
D - jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge oats
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Morning all.
Don't blame you staying at home @beanielou - hope the white stuff melts soon and you can get out and about again
Welcome back @joedenise, sounds like a lovely trip to the IoW and without too much damage on the scales. Beef Wellington sounds lovely for Christmas dinner and as you said, something that can be prepped in advance.
Sorry to hear about your dad @Coxy11, keeping the fingers crossed that all his systems sort themselves out so he can actually have the treatment he needs. Desk in a doorway doesn't surprise me, I've been put in cupboards (a literal storage cupboard) and basements before. Hope it's not too doom and gloom and hope you get the redundancy money sorted soon!
I also hate socialising with work colleagues @Longwalker so good on you for actually going. Hope your tummy troubles sort themselves out soon as well as sounds very painful.
Fingers crossed for your mum @bubbs, can imagine it's all very stressful for her and bringing back lots of memories of when you're dad was first ill. Hope you can find enough layers to keep you within target range on the lead up to Christmas!
Well done on all the losses, kind of lost track of everyone who did! I also lost a whopping 2.5lbs this week which I'm going to put down to being more active because I've been eating a few treats this weekend. Went out for lunch with some friends on Saturday to celebrate a 50th birthday and had an amazing panettone bread and butter pudding with a marmalade ice cream for desert that I could have again right now 😋. Also took a trip to the Winchester markets just to see the lights, have a hot chocolate and take in the festive atmosphere.
Back to the work grind this morning and about to go and make a coffee before settling down to crack out some presentations I have to do during the week. Had porridge with apple and cinnamon this morning, lunch is freezer surprise (I think it's some kind of carrot and coriander soup but I could be wrong! Must get better at labelling things!). Will have a couple of boiled eggs and cherry tomatoes on the side if it is. Dinner tonight is bacon and leek macaroni cheese because I had a craving for it,
