Well done to all the loosers!
Feeling so much better today - I tested negative so think it was just one of those 24 hour flu/cold virus. Also means I won't miss weigh in tomorrow.
Back on track today:
B overnight oats (HEB)
L scrambled eggs with spinach
Banana
D home made veggie soup with a bit of cheese on top (HEA)
Other HEA in tea and coffee
Snacks berries and FF yoghurtDebt free and Keeping on Track1 -
Afternoon all, been out all morning again - I really don't know where the time goes; it just seems to disappear!
Glad you're feeling better today @MrsPorridge and you've tested negative. It seems we almost think we've got Covid these days rather than a cold/flu - touch wood I've never had it and hopefully will continue to miss it!
DH has become allergic to my washing liquid which I changed to recently - couldn't get my usual one so got one from Tesco! Really annoying as it means have had to wash all his pants, socks and t-shirts in the usual one and try and get it all dry today - it's blowing on the one at the moment along with the bedding so hopefully it will all dry. The bedding went out first and is definitely dry but the rest of it didn't go out until lunchtime so if it doesn't dry it'll have to go on the airer overnight to finish off.
Menu plan has gone completely to pot this week! So this means still not completely on plan but never mind there's always another day! Doubt I'll be on plan very much next week to be honest!
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs and spinach, toast - HEB; P; S
L - Primula Light on panini - HEA2; 10
D - chilli, rice - P; S; F
S - skinny cappuccino while out 4.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - Primula Light
HEB - bread
Syns - panini 10; 4.5
Hope everyone is having a good day.1 -
Thanks for the restaurant menu @Longwalker. I'd certainly eat there if I lived local to you. Enjoy your meal. 😊
Turkish food is great @NornironRose. Shish kebabs with salad would be nice but they do so many things that are SW friendly. I like saksuka which is an aubergine, tomato and pepper dish as a starter. All will have some oil but otherwise fine.
It's been good to have a break from the endless rain this week @maddiemay. Helps to keep the SAD at bay. It's been glorious here today and we had a lovely walk with friends. Stopped for a coffee afterwards @joedenise but I always stick to americano so syn free (milk from HEA).
I was afraid that my cold last week was covid @MrsPorridge but recovered fairly quickly. Hope you do too. 👍
I'm going to do a food diary this week to be 100 % certain leading up to WI next Thursday. I'm out for a meal tomorrow evening but have preordered salmon with new potatoes so should be OK. 🤞
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- LO hash and pickles (P, F, S)
D- burger (P, S), green stuff, tomatoes and mushrooms (S), SW chips and peas (F)
Syns - 00 -
Evening all ;D

Beautiful photo @bubbs but I thought it was satsumas and ice cream! 🤣
Shame Company Shop was a disappointment. ☹️
When you make beef burgers, do you flavour them with anything?🤔 DH loved ours tonight but I thought they were a bit bland. They just had onion and pepper. I suppose I've got used to my meatballs with spices but I use turkey mince for those so they need it.0 -
Honestly it lit the sky up was beautiful
I use paprika and garlic in them 😋😋and i use 50% pork and 50% beef as i find just beef too dry

Welcome back @maddiemay. I totally get the being able to read and just not having the energy or time to reply, dont beat yourself up over itSAD is an awful condition , esp if you are usually a happy cheerful person. I have friends who swear by those sunrise lamps or whatever they are called, where your bedroom slowly lightens so you wake to what your brain conceives as sunlight. I dont get full blown SAD but I know I lack the motivation during the winter, but I do my utmost to get out in the fresh air for a couple or three miles daily. Walking that amount 3 to 4 times a week got me through the menopause and the hot sweats, and Im no where near as sluggish as I was during the winter . But we are all different , it worked for me, you may need something elseI cant believe its not long past tea and Im looking forward to Lunch tomorrow
But its more about the company and the craic then the food. We were supposed to go to friends tonight but Mr L walked in the door tired , wet and filthy so we called off. Awkward as I have brought home a bag of scones which I was taking . Ive wrapped them and she says she will call in tomorrow at some point , a little warm in the oven they will be grand Im sure
Im still totally shattered, I think its possibly down to us being so quiet. Im so used to hitting the ground running and not stopping till finish that this relaxed working is just so not me . Im there for 4 hours which today felt like 6. Lucky that part of my job description is to talk to customers, I can talk about anything and everything and I get plenty of giggles at leastSo Ive scoffed one of the scones - oops. Lovely it was as well. Luckily the scales this morning were in my favour so Im not stressing it0
