I last weighed two weeks ago.
So eight weeks from then is after Christmas.
So technically when I go to class I don’t need to weigh.
    This is right?

Rose. Glad that wedding went well 🤩

Yes that's right @beanielou. If you're in target range then you don't have to go to WI for 8 weeks, regardless of how much the app tries to persuade you otherwise.

My next WI day is 30th November. I'm hoping to be in range then which will see me into the new year. 🤞

  • @Bubbs, I had to give up work when barely 40, Ive managed to work PT since, this being the least hours ever - 16 - and we manage. Mr L is on 24 ( lot more money ) and whilst we wont be having holiday homes or cruises, we manage ok. I couldn't even think of being full time in my 60's

@NornIronRose, great restraint, and also a nod to all of us that we can pick the better choices if we really want to

Well done to all those that STS or Lost - brilliant

I gained - 1/2 lb, which considering my scales showed 2lb on after the weekend Im really pleased with. Ive got to find my feet with keeping within the target limits and also allowing some treats. Its taken me 30 weeks to get here so I know the next stage isnt going to be overnight either, so Im not beating myself up on that gain

Ive been cooking up a storm today. I found a ham hock ( rare as hens teeth ) so had that soaking yesterday, PC today, stripped the meat off, threw the bones and gristle back in with split peas, brought that back up to boil and now cooling, tomorrow Ill skim off the fat and add chopped spuds and make a really hearty soup. Whilst that was happening I made 2kg of fat free yoghurt ( still straining ) and a huge pot of butternut squash and sweet potato soup, whilst cooking a roast turkey dinner .

So loads of speed and loads of protein at my fingertips. The ham shank has been trimmed of all visible fat and that going to make the infamous crustless quiche , Ive a load of cooked veggies left from dinner and a few bags of left over mash in the freezer so bubble will be rearing its head

Right now Im working on getting the speed in me and like ?@joedenise my toileting isnt the best, I stink. I dont poo, I break wind and its not good :(

TMI, but lets face it, we arent alone with side effects

Is that not a bank holiday? The 1st?
I know we have no class 25th Dec.

You'll have to check with your consultant @beanielou. I know New Year is a bigger thing in Scotland but some groups will be open around here I'm sure. Ideally, you could WI again in the next couple of weeks and push your next WI further into January.

I love ham and lentil soup @Longwalker. I'd add onion and carrot, and leeks if you have them, to get Speed into the mix. 😋

@Longwalker - it's me with the 'issue' although I'm now thinking it's IBS as when I do go it's very urgent. Do you have a dog you can blame?!

.....and good morning....hope I didn't put you off your breakfast!!

Food yesterday was a lovely roast leg of lamb (Sains offer, thanks @bubbs), SW roasties, sprouts, roasted bns, carrot and red onion. I did however succumb to some cauli cheese and a small piece of apple strudel. I felt nicely full and given we ate at 1.30pm I didn't have dinner. Back on it today.

    Food today:
    B - poached egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, 1 x WM toast - P, S, 1/2 HEB
    L - JP, tuna, light mayo, pickles - free, P, 2, S
D - Szechuan pork with noodles - free
    HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
