Morning all, it a very grey and very windy morning so have taken a chance and hung a machine load of washing out! Hopefully it will dry before the forecast rain which is due around lunchtime! At least it should get the worst of it out if the rain arrives earlier!
Had my covid jab yesterday and my arm is really sore and didn't sleep very well last night because of it. I've also had a headache since about 3 hours after the jab! Have taken pain killer and hoping it will calm down soon.
Still got flu jab to have but not going to have that until my arm has stopped feeling painful! Don't want it in the other arm as I sleep on my side usually!
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - HEA2; HEB; S
D - oxtail stew, mash, green veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all, WFH today and very grumpy - didn't sleep a wink last night due to the noise from wind, rain and an empty food caddy blowing up and down the hill!
Meatballs is my favourite dinner at the moment @maman and I made enough for some l/overs for lunch 😁
Hope your arm eases @joedenise I had the flu jab last week and the community hospital was the busiest I've ever seen it with really long queues.
Today's plan:
B - sweet omelette, banana, Kvarg 0.5 syns
L - l/over meatballs, side salad
D - Hunter's chicken, potatoes, roasted broccoli, carrots, tomatoes
Have a good day everyone!0 -
The washing got a good blow for a couple of hours and then there was rain in the air so at least the worst of the water was blown away! Washing now on the airer and should be dry later, or at least by the morning so that's a win. Will do another load tomorrow as forecast is no rain until the evening but we shall see!0

Meatballs have become a firm favourite here too @Jellybaby. 😋 I batch cook mine and freeze so it makes an easy meal. I generally bake a tray of about 40 while the oven's on at the weekend.
It was really blowy here this morning too @joedenise. Then the rain started.☹️
We were in the city centre and DH suggested lunch but persuaded him to wait until we got home. 👍
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, eggs (P), baked beans (F)
L- JP (F), tuna and onion (P, S), salad bits (S)
D- veggie chilli (P, S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
Syns - mayo 20 -
