Thanks @foxgloves, I don't feel ill enough 'in myself' to have flu, think my body is just wiped from the triple whammy of period, particularly bad joints, and cold/cough/sinus infection, which are of course all affecting each other. I will take your chocolate prescription seriously, I've managed to lose a few pounds from doing absolutely nothing but lie down for days. If I wasn't feeling shoddy this would be an excellent diet!
I will if it goes on longer than the weekend @beanielou, hoping these eardrops will be the key to untangling the general 'ughness'.2 -
Was brave and had shower before mum got back as there was a serious risk of me going back to bed stinking. It was fine, but tiring
Went back to bed
Finished Sapiens, is very good
Made myself go for a short walk, took longer than usual and really thought my knee was going to entirely go at one point, but I have been An Upright Person! Huzzah!
Also I would like to throttle whoever invented kids microscooters
Going to look at the crossword and attempt a small glass of wine and will probably be back in bed in an hour
Hope you all have a lovely Friday evening full of stable uprightness x2 -
I was thinking GP too, as you were describing the ear / balance things. Maybe ask 111?If you can’t manage a full shower, maybe a sit down flannel wash with warm water would help you feel cleaner / more comfortable?Sending gentle sparkles

Well on getting up after another long night's sleep and not feeling better- if anything feeling worse because the ear drops are aggravating my throat- I went to my local pharmacy and asked for a consultation as 'I think I need antibiotics'.
The very nice pharmacist said I definitely need antibiotics but under the government's shiny new Pharmacy First scheme that enables them to prescribe.... the clinical pathway for ear infections only covers children 😂😭
So she asked me to come home and call 111, who arranged for a clinician to phone me later, who sent a prescription, that I then had to walk back to the pharmacy to get.
But I have antibiotics! And have done 40 minutes of walking today!
I've also done:
Admin and Lidl receipt survey (but not the usual comping rounds as I'm still sulking)
Little tidy while waiting for clinician call
Coop survey
9.65 spent on prescription, fine by me
And I received a Morrison's card!
Really hope the antibiotics kick in quickly, I know it takes a while to regain energy after a virus but really want to see Mr PIP and at least do nothing alongside him, without being a manky, spluttery risk to health

I’m glad you made the call and asked for help.
Nowhere in any of the blurb I have seen about the new options for pharmacies, is there anything about ear infections being treatable for children only! Gah 🙄🤷♀️
I was told years ago that you can start an antibiotics course with a double dose to start with to start knocking the infection on the head. Really hope it helps.

Thanks @KajiKita the pharmacist hadn't realised either and had a bit of a 'well this is embarrassing' moment 😁
I am super excited to hopefully feel better VERY🤞soon and keep glancing at the clock like you do when you've promised yourself a nice glass of wine or some chocolate or whatnot- is it antibiotics time yet, is it antibiotics time yet?!2 -
