An in-between phase

Not the best start to the day as saw I'd received a message from 'sil' yesterday evening saying if our guests were staying longer could we all go inside at 8pm as noise from our garden when we have people over is preventing her child from sleeping.
The noise from our garden is a small number of adults talking pleasantly before 11pm and in yesterday's case until 9pm, two or maximum three times a month.I did not take well to her imposing a garden curfew on us, especially when she knows they're making our lives a misery with daily early morning noise that wakes us up as they chose the aesthetic of not having carpets over being considerate.
Anyway, after I'd calmed down I decided to turn the other cheek (which is a pleasant way of saying completely ignore her).Nice walk with Mr PIP and dropped off a vinted sale
Laundry using free and bargain products, bits and bobs of house stuff. Mr PIP has made good progress with the claiming VAT from build stuff job.
Vinted listing and Saturday pint with Mr PIP. We are getting chippy chips for tea to reward ourselves for putting up with 'sil' 😁Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend 🍻

My mouth was literally falling open at your SiL … and then broadened into smile when I saw your response. 😉 And how passive aggressive to text you about it and not actually <whisper> talk to you 🙄
What’s Mr PiP’s take on it all?
That VAT claim will be epic! 😊👏
