  • Hope you're having a wonderful time away PiP - and some nice beers!  I've just reminded MrEH that we were planning a christmas order - currently Leigh on Sea brewery is right up there as my preferred option! (And they nearly count as "LocAle" - they're at least in the right county!)

  • Only slept for eleven and a half hours!

    Fruit for breakfast

    Some very small admin

Gave bunch of roses I was given to a woman passing by as, much as they were beautiful they wouldn't last well being dragged back to London and I didn't want them to go in the bin. She's going to give them to her sister who isn't feeling well 😊

Was tempted to go back to bed and read but thought I should get a sandwich for lunch while I was still upright

Then once I was out thought I should get some steps so had a half hour stroll in the drizzle

Went to Waitrose and got lunch and picked up their free paper

    Receipt survey
    Two coop surveys
    Couple other surveys
    Sent an invoice

Did some of the usual comping but am reigning it in a bit as I've entered thousands of the blimmin things over nearly a year and not won a single thing

Am very much enjoying my time away but the reminder of how little space I have and how little time on my own, as well as not having a property to live in let alone rent out is making me a bit resentful.
I know it's just general exhaustion with the situation of waiting and not knowing, and my shoulder being particularly bad is making me even grumpier, but I really need a decision, I am running out of ability to not go completely insane. Must hold my nerve. Surely it can't be much longer now 😭

Another drizzly walk to a nice pub to sit by myself in the covered garden with heaters with a local beer. Got dinner on a deal for two meals yesterday. An earlyish night as have to check out tomorrow morning, wish I'd been able to afford to book being away for longer!

Cheers all 🍻 here's to hoping for good news. I'm going to have a pint and indulge in my yearly Christmas read of Hogfather.
It's the book my dad made me read one Christmas to get me into Discworld and it would have been his birthday this weekend so feels very fitting
  • A mere nine hours sleep!

I bought another sandwich and some crisps for the journey like some sort of sandwichy millionaire and was even brave enough to eat them despite being nervous about tummy on train

    Did client job on train

Back home and by eck I don't 'alf ache!

But unpacked, did comps, caught up on emails,  receipt survey, couple of other surveys

Cancelled bargain beer box before full price next time

Unearthed Camra vouchers, they're still valid til May so don't need to think about that now

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 2k and I would also like a hamper
If I unexpectedly win all the hampers I've entered for, I'm going to have to spend the rest of my life subsisting on cava and chutney. I expect I'll cope

    Did Vinted updates

And I am officially nearly out of energy but the Lidl bargain wine offer is back for the next few weeks so will get some steps in getting that and meet Mr PIP for a couple of beers and a catch up. Pizza for dinner but shop bought not takeaway

Btw I don't know if it's a personalised offer but got an email saying today only £2 bonus on a £10 spend through topcashback, so worth checking if you were going to buy something anyway

I hope that the cava : chutney winning ratio works out ok based on the needs of the tuppence club.

Always willing to help with cava although you will need someone else for the chutney. :D
  • 😁 I will of course be making sure there's ample supply kept for when I definitely win a million pounds @Blackcats

Thank you for remembering, and yes they f****** did. There was no need for them to introduce hope/trepidation into our lives if they weren't going to deliver on their promises but yet again they've just put us in a mentally shoddy place with no idea what's going on or when anything might occur
