An in-between phase

Jamaica ginger cake sounds like a a proper cosy treat. I reckon it must have plenty of health and well-being ingredients. I'd like a slice with a dollop of custard please and a mug of tea.

Well done getting your steps in.
Leftover pizza and Jamaican ginger cake. Double yum.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

What is a boo box when it’s at home 🤔 Is it something I need in my life 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

@Sun_Addict a boo box is a completely made-up concept by companies trying to flog stuff in autumn, so 'boo' as in Halloween scary 'boo' as its seasonal but also 'boo' as in slang for really loved friends, as in 'that's my boo', as companies try to encourage it as a thing you would get for yourself and as a gift for your best friend.
Very clever marketing and I'm as usual completely cynical but unfortunately it really appeals to me 😂
Long story short, it's a bundle of cosy items. Items vary depending on company promoting their wares.
Think wine/chocolates/snuggly socks/book/pampering stuff
Basically all the things one is vulnerable to spending on at this time of year!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Sounds like I need one then 🤣 A bundle of snuggly stuff is right up my street.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I also need one @Sun_Addict 🤣 Must resist, must resist
It is feeling particularly tempting to buy little extra lovely things at the moment as it feels like we're always having to find money to pay bills for boring things and things we didn't even want for the build (contrasting bricks cos the architect is a d*ckhead etc etc), and I know it is completely counterintuitive to see a pile of bills we can't afford and start operating a 'one for you, one for me' attitude, but it is soooo hard constantly striving to pay thousands for stuff we don't care about and never spending on nice bits that bring joy.
Must stay strong, home of one's own most important investment, gives opportunities, gives security, must not crumble and fritter now 😭😁🥂

Crumble and fritter! That sounds like my kind of dinner 😋1

That did occur to me when I was writing it @Slowdown but thought I'd better not tempt myself even further 😁 If you get spare portions though, let me know, I'll bring my own cutlery to save on your wear and tear 😂https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase
