Our shower base came with a non-slip finish but after a few years it is now not as non-slip as it was. Not sure how long any non-slip ever lasts but it won't be forever!

Brass or chrome???   Why not gold plated swans?  If you are going to be awake thinking over taps really go mad!

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Getting cut to size would be too expensive @WelshmansDaughter but you're right, we might need to just buy an anti-slip thing.

A good point @joedenise though would be nice to have a few years of it!

There is nothing but shower trays @KajiKita, shower trays are our life now

Oh my days @Watty1. It's gonna take a lot of surveys to raise £895 but needs must

Thanks @vampirotoothus, will try that if we really can't find anything the builder can get at trade prices

I have an ugly anti slip mat for my shower so will be watching your progress closely for a more attractive option.
