De lurking. I feel your pain Pip. I was so excited to do our en-suite and had visions of going to various bathroom emporiums to laze in different baths and try out various styles. The reality was lockdown struck and had to buy online. Then after I’d bought everything somebody mentioned there are different colours of white! Luckily it did all match. The plumber did say that if the bath had been 2 cm wider it wouldn’t fit through the door.

I really understand re bathroom.  When I re-did the ensuite I had visions of choosing but was so overwhelmed at the time I just let the builder do it.  He sent me 3 options and I went with that.  If I was doing it again I might do it differently but I like the ensuite so it worked well.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I bet you’re dreaming about bathroom fittings when you finally manage to get some sleep 😬

  • Is there an option to get something cut to size PiP? Or perhaps buy something anti slip instead of having built in?
