I am 70 and definitely more "shuffly" than I used to be, and in autumn/winter I pretty much live in Damart fleece trousers. They have everything I want - pockets, elasticated waist, choice of leg lengths, not too flappy or tight, and wash and dry quickly (although I know fleece is not so great environmentally). Not the cheapest but they seem hard wearing. I have had some for well over 4 years and they do get washed and worn, washed and worn on a quick turnover, and then I usually buy 1 new pair a year for when I am on show. :D I also have some of Damarts thermal long johns for those extra cold days if I have to go out.  I was laughing with a friend recently that years ago my ex-husband and I used to read the Sunday papers and the supplements you used to get and laugh at the thought of "a giant foot muff". Now I wonder if they still make them? Although I would probably forget about it and fall flat on my face going to the loo!

    Haha, what a recommendation @dreaming
Love me a damart thermal vest.
Unfortunately the ones that look suitable aren't available in her size so the search continues!

Cotton Traders also do fleece trousers but I have to say I didn't like them as much as Damart.

Feeling dire with period today and this weather isn't exactly helping me feel like an energetic go-getting person either!

    But have dun:

Free exercise of half wussy situps

    Admin
    Tidying
    Comping

Free exercise of steps getting essentials (okay, and crisps and chocolate, but they do have competitions attached so it's very mse if I win 😁)

Nothing has actually been progressed with build but I have updated the things that need nagging and when. And told the builder that no, we can't attend with only 24 hours notice even if the guy he wants to do the kitchens is coming tomorrow 🙄

    Carpet walk
    Vinted listing

Survey cashouts, shares to current account, Christmas pot, build pot

    Aim £677.61
    Got £9.04

Happy Friday everyone, and happy Halloween 🥂🧡
