We bought one (middle isle 'bargain') for doing the hated work shirts, then lockdown happened and I am not actually sure if it ever got used because I quite liked my ironing steam press and he took early retirement as soon as they said he had to go back to the city centre office.  The one I have is on a stand with a built in coat hanger if that makes sense so it is quite bulky.  I must plug it in and see if it works actually.
  • Cream-crackered but made a small profit and it all adds up! Standing for four hours with the sun on the back of your neck, especially when it's the first sun exposure for best part of a year is very knackering!

Nice time had catching up with our friends who shared the stall and some steps done.

Usuals fitted in and dinner is omelette and wedges

Feeling absolutely no sympathy re sun on the back of the neck, envy yes, sympathy no.  However seriously - hope no bad effects from the sun.
  • 😁 @badmemory, it would have been lovely to sit in if in a garden or pub garden but directly on you when you can't go elsewhere for four hours was a bit much! My moisturiser has spf/ubv protection in it though, and I took it with and topped up, and made others put it on too. Did have to wrap my jumper round my neck for quite a while though!

Well done on making a profit 💰 It’s been glorious here too, so warm, wish it would stay like this until autumn.

If you are going to do them regularly I reccomend a hat that coveres your neck and sunglasses.
  • It was so lovely to walk down the street and feel relaxed and warm rather than having to brace yourself against the dreadfulness of cold or wind or rain or all three @Sun_Addict. Meant to be 27 degrees in London on Thursday though, and I do not feel like I've had enough time to ease myself into nice weather 😁

  • Good call @ladyholly, probably won't do another until late summer or early autumn- the fancy hat I bought Mr PIP for Christmas in anticipation of summer did sterling work for him today!

I am with you on not being quite ready for the sunshine but it was lovely and this links to a former post as sunny clothes need ironing. I'm interested in hand held steamer too...well done on making a profit...
