I think if I am gifted any money for my birthday I will spend it on a clothes steamer and report back. I did previously include it on my gift ideas list to Mr PIP but he said he is not falling for being the man who basically bought his missus an iron as a present, and I do have to respect and admire that 😂
This made me smile 😊 Good on Mr PiP ❤️

I don’t feel ready for this warm weather either - found a rose in bloom today by the side of our front door, in APRIL! 😳

… though, actually, now I think about it … 🤔
when Mr KK and I were first courting he bought me an iron. Mine had died and at that time I did still iron things. I was stoney broke and when we were at a steam rally for a day out, he bought me one just to help me out, so it’s not always a bad thing 😊❤️
It’s still the iron we have now, some 20 years later 😊

Dashing off to an industry wine tasting this afternoon, Mr PIP is on build wrangling duties and trying to find time to do his actual job, dinner is whatever leftovers are most appealing at the time

Lovely afternoon, wonderful catching up with friends, lots of nice wines, found a superb stand out syrah- too pricey for current budget but noted for when I am rich!
Weather remained warm enough for shorts but glad I took my jumper for outside drinks after.
Much to do tomorrow including mortgage broker call, must practice my respectable voice. Must also try to do basic flat clean that we had no time to do over weekend or today
