Feeling a bit down and overwhelmed by everything, and having nightmares for the last three nights has not helped. Sacked off pretty much everything productive today and mostly read my book.

Nightmares is a sign your head is too full and your brain is struggling to process everything. Absolutely the right thing to do to have some downtime today. I hope you sleep better tonight.Sending hugs x

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Thank you my lovelies x
Oh, I did also chase warranty provider for clarification on some points and finally got them, so we can now pay for structural warranty and site insurance, and having that we can pay deposit for the builder and fee for building controller.
If builder can get to building controller first stage and building controller can sign off that stage before planning permission runs out in June then we might stand a chance of this build actually happening, though its anyone's guess as to whether there'll be enough money left by the time the council deign to sign off on the consents, especially as we now need to hire a new firm to submit the several consents surveyor just randomly lied about doing for the past year.
I really can't think why I'm stressed 😂2 -
It’s hardly surprising you’re stressed by all that kerfuffle. It really does put my right of way to our bin area in perspective. BTW it’s not the creepy single male (now with a blocked drain caused by chip fat or worse I suspect) responsible for the digging up paths but folk further down the block of six flats. Thankfully the young couple with a baby occupying the middle first floor flat who chuck nappies out of their window are moving soon. The lady next door on the other side (owner of wooden ducks we varnished) is pleasant so not all unhinged!Tilly Tidying andPADing in 2024 £250.62

I'm glad there's one normal other than your household @Sallyforth 😂 I'm outraged on your behalf by your bin right of way issue, as well as starey drain clogging man, and the dirty nappy throwers.
The absolute cheek/inconsiderateness/stupidity of people never ceases to amaze!
Vaguely speaking of such things, Mr PIP might have found a new record for priciest beer pretending it's normal today. Granted its 13% and meant to be drank in thirds, granted he was in core central London, but £39 for a pint. Thirty nine pounds. For a pint. Needless to say, he did not purchase it2 -
I know I am out of touch with pub prices and certainly don't know London prices but at £39 I hope it came in gold plated bottles and diamond encrusted glasses.
