Obviously @Blackcats, it would be an insult to be expected to go without such essentials. Of course the hand sculpted copper bath can only be sculpted by a descendant of Atlantis whose hands have never touched anything other than the purest rose petals2

Usuals
Spec work
Walk getting essentials. The price of coffee seems to be going up every five minutes!
Found 4p
Popped free paper round to mum, borrowed her big suitcase, packed it for boot sale this weekend
Took off a cupboard door that has been annoying me for a year
Dinner is potato croquettes with vine tomatoes

Yes, coffee and chocolate I notice are both on the up.

I am knackered. Another day of mostly build wrangling. How can there possibly be so much that needs doing if nothing can be done yet, and why is it us doing it and not the people we're paying 😭
Receipt survey

Cleaned trainers mum was getting rid of to see if I'll wear them
Moved cupboard door to sensible storage place
Had to wait in for gas safety check so half hour carpet walk
Yay, won a le crudest mixing bowl 😊
Finished a book; Lightning Rods by Helen Dewitt. Enjoyed
Dinner is pasta with cupboard sauce, praise it's name. But first more build wrangling over a large glass of wine with Mr PIP in the garden, if we can get into it 😂

It is so exhausting when you are employing "professionals" and end up doing the work yourself. I am sorry everything is so hard for you.

Nice win.
Enjoy the wine, even if it is attached to build wrangling...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks all, nice to have a wee nice thing occur!
We did manage to bust into our own garden once I'd traipsed round the block in the hope random gate was open which happily it was 🙄 Absolute nonsense, this is a five minute job and it's taking them months and months. Still, at least the housing company is not L&Q, could be worse!
