Tentatively optimistic is a good enough place to be. I shall watch Grand Designs tonight without demanding that Kevin tells me how the heck people got planning permission for "that". I shall still politely ask Kev to delve more deeply into how the participants found an extra £squillion so that they didn't have to compromise on the hand sculpted copper bath or the must have plunge pool. Obviously I wouldn't expect you to compromise on the bath or pool.2
