April round up
I have pretty much kept up with steps and situps and f&v even through recovering from hysteroscopy, pleased with that both for health reasons and because I'd be annoyed if I had to start paying for exercise to do any
Very glad to have a working fridgefreezer and it has been made use of for some batch cooking though definite improvements could be made. As me and Mr PIP cross-bought on the reduced price easter spuds, I see a lot of mash based meals in our near future before they go manky!
Work still very slow what with chatgpt stealing it all, but I have done a good job for my clients where work has been available, and done good work pursuing the invigilator possibility
Had a nice Easter Sunday with mum, glad I saved a little bit in that pot to have a few quid aside for ingredients and wine, and chocolate for her and Mr PIP
Have made huge progress on the build even though it feels like (and frankly is in reality) just us handing over large chunks of our life savings to people with no guarantee it'll come good, but got to be in it to win it and all that 🤞 😭🤞😭🤞

I confess to have being lured into buying the 8p carrots & potatoes. Carrots are totally sorted as those not already eaten (I was amazed how many there actually were incidentally) are frozen & listed for when to go. Potatoes not so much. I always keep some in but rarely use them. But there seem to be so many! It is such a waste. I often cut up sweetcorn & cauli etc & drop in curry, spaghetti etc, but I have never done that with potato. Does that work. I'm wondering why I bought them because I do hate wasting food. Weirdly enough I dislike the ideal of wasting potatoes at 8p more than I do ones at £1.50. I think it may be a feeling that I have deprived someone who could desperately have needed those 8p ones although I left loads.

Mum's birthday this month so hopefully I'll have some change left from the money put aside but if not at least it's been put aside. Most important thing is to enjoy good times with mum and her feel celebrated and content 😊
Keep up build progress. Do not go insane. Some level of unsaneness acceptable as coping strategy.
Free exercise, batch cooking, persevere with work available and sales and surveys. It all adds up 🍻
Need as many pounds in current account and flat pot as possible, and it's Mr PIP's birthday in July so need to start saving for that. Also need to start saving 1k for next year's LISA
