    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Oh, what a shame, @PiP, I'm sorry to hear that. These things do somewhat underline the need for us all to make the most of each day, do they not?
    Take care now,

Oh PiP, so sorry to hear about your friend. It's been a very sad few months for you. I've had news of two deaths this week, one person I was at school with many moons ago - he'd had ill health for a while so not that unexpected but the other is a young lady whose death was totally unexpected.

As foxgloves said, it confirms that we need to make the most of every day. KA x
