  • I had such a crush on Michael Bolton as a child @WelshmansDaughter 🤣

Ooh do @Watty1, such a good use-it-up meal and lovely to be able to have portions left for the freezer. Versatile too, I was considering getting substitute mince like quorn or Linda McCartney but decided to use the lentils we already had in. But you could just use a load of veg, doesn't have to have a 'main'

Get involved @KajiKita, it was blimmin lovely. Maybe that can be one of your Fredagsmys cosy aims, should @Blackcats feel to set this diary up for us 😊
Oh dear, I must have reverted to being a manager of some sort or another as I put on my green De Bono's thinking hat and threw my great idea into the mix and then assumed my work in the team had been done 🤩. Whoops!

best go and do some Belbin completer finisher type work.

  • 😁 If you would like one of us to set up the diary what with you being busy as a lady of leisure that is fine @Blackcats but obvs we wouldn't do so without your say-so. Btw you do suit a hat

Thanks PIP.  I've taken off my hat now and rolled up my sleeves and finally got on and done my work.  Thread is up and running over on old style boards.
I'll have a rest now and watch the footie
  • I shall go over immediately and lend my support (and stick a link here, tsk, call yourself a manager 😂) Thank you for setting it up for us

Oh and also put in a complaint as HMRC still haven't updated my NI record after their required wait of 39 weeks
Lord knows where my money is
mine took about 4 years! i'd call them every 6 months til i finally got someone trained to fix it!

Although it's actually 123k extra we need so that's already 50k taken care of by me putting the wrong figure before, it's easy this money making lark isn't it 😂
Already feels better ! Still its a huge amt to find

We need to get through the other 60 weeks of January first @Sun_Addict 😁
Why people choose to go on diets or drink no alcohol this month is absolutely beyond me.
It's January. What on earth are you thinking 😂
I am with you, had some very nice red tonight in a pub..;) i never diet anyway but noone will be seeing me in a bikini for months now so...]

    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

  • Ahh I love lasagne but can pretty much never be bothered with the faff of making it sadly. I have been known to make a sort of deconstructed version but it's not quite the same. Another favourite I don't make often enough is pizza-pasta bake, where you top off a basic pasta bake mix with pepperoni and mozzarella and bake until golden and bubbling...

I make pasta bakes quite regularly but Mr F is the lasagne-maker in the relationship.
