Thanks for all your comments January comrades ✊️
@Sun_Addict, you probably know this but check you've claimed your referral points etc on eureka as I just got the daily poll streak, claimed but then saw had to claim again in 'achievements', only clocked through idle scrolling
Usuals
Got PB money; 100 to current account, 25 to mothers day pot, 50 to flat pot
Got 25 survey pay out; share to tax pot, grr, 10 current account, 5 mothers day, 5 flat pot
Bits and bobs of domestic things
30 minute carpet walk
Mr PIP is out this evening so I'll be making use of a random dried mac cheese packet that's been loitering in the cupboard. Doesn't look wildly appetising but waste not want not. With emphasis on the 'want not' in this case 😁
Tasks for this evening are more carpet steps, make myself do a tedious listing, and look into ziffit alternatives as they're still being unusable. I know how to live it up on a Saturday night!

I hope you enjoy the random mac cheese with a 🍷 to compensate if it’s not very appetising.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Add a bit of mustard maybe.

Good idea @badmemory, I always put it in my homecooked mac cheese but hadn't thought to do it with this. Bit of onion, bit of extra cheese, it'll be fabulous1

Completely agree about January having too many days in it. Apparently there are STILL 3 Fridays left in January so I wonder if the post-Advent Team Tuppence might enjoy a bit of Fredagsmys?
nothing dodgy I promise 😉
its a Swedish term for "cosy Friday". Staying home in pj's, watching films, playing board games and eating snacks. Or any variation that suits. We used to do a version of this during lockdown with work chums - a hot chocolate and a teams chat on a Friday afternoon.
doesn't need to cost anything or very little spend and can include whatever we want including wearing our advent jewellery with our Jim jams if we want.

That's a really nice idea @Blackcats, we could make it like A Very MSE Advent where we make sure to do/wear at least one cosy/lovely thing every Friday for rest of January or even February too, doable enough around work and other commitments that way.. does this merit its own diary do you think 🤔2

Aldi walk. We really didn't want to but we also really didn't want to pay a premium by going to the sainsers local!
Finally sorted ziffit/SellYourBooks with absolutely no help from them. £1.80 added to basket. They are now driving me spare sending constant notifications telling me I have items in my basket. I BLOODY KNOW, I PUT THEM THERE
Mr PIP completed his tax return, hurrah. Lot of faff for twenty quid but such is taxes, I'm sure the chancellor will spend it wisely 👀
Counted up spare change pots, got a quid in 1p's and five quid in 5p's so just need to find a convenient branch to pay it into 👀
Walk with Mr PIP for camra discount beer and catch up
Dinner is based around using the garlic bread in the freezer then defrosting the freezer overnight, we have finally arrived at this mystical land 😂
