*clutches pearls at the thought of my phone being on landscape* 😂
Thank you @LilSmiler and nice to see you again, hope all is well with you?

Saw a toy narrowboat in my local charity shop for £50 (79.99 new)!!! Small One was swiftly removed from its vicinity.

I’ve long since given up on any formatting functions on here … They does my swede in! 😉
Re the £10 challenge for Mr PiPs Christmas present - have you looked at places like 3tsy or online toy shops?

Oh yes - I'd completely forgotten about needing to have a phone or tablet on landscape to make the forum work properly - I never use it on the phone at all and just automatically flip the tablet round when I'm on there!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Ouch @WelshmansDaughter, and good save! I'd seen this make of candle whilst perusing the fortnums site gift section the other day so I do appreciate its fancy, but £25. For a small candle. In a charity shop. And impossibly expensive as housing is around here, it's not even a posh area 😂
That's a nice idea @KajiKita, though I don't know what I'm searching for! The remaining £7.50 will amply cover some chocolate coins, a lindt bar, a Christmas themed scratchcard, and a can of peanut butter beer that I tried to get last year and failed, and don't hold out much hope for this year either considering that @EssexHebridean confirmed the brewery is rather flaky.
But if the beer money needs to instead go on a mini box of lindt (and I have to scoff the bar of lindt) that is fine. I already have a book off the street 😁 The Black Swan by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, which I think he'll be interested in, and as Mr PIP likes an occasional bake, my previous charity shop purchase of some cupcake wrappers that are in pop art comic book style prints. I particularly appreciated the design of a woman saying 'Brad can't resist my cupcakes'

You temptress with your irresistible cup cakes.
100 piece jigsaw is a wholesome achievement. I was helping 3 year old granddaughter with a jigsaw recently. I found it surprisingly difficult until I realised that there were 4 small puzzles all jumbled up into one box. So I eventually managed 4 x 25 piece puzzles so we are about even. The Strictly Great British Jigsaw Dancing on ice puzzle off awaits us.3 -
Love the stocking challenge. Very creativeMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -

Put winter rugs down. I'm particularly pleased with using one of them as I got it from olio about two years ago and it's beautiful and I've been saving it for if we ever get to build new place, but in the spirit of not making decisions not to enjoy something 'just in case' as discussed on @Watty1's diary, I got it out and now have a gorgeous rug to admire and warmer feet. Slightly b*ggered my shoulder doing so but at least its sore gazing upon a lovely thing 😁
Mr PIP is out tonight so dinner is pasta bake with veg he's not keen on
