Flat clean with Mr PIP
Tried to get my planter from the communal garden but some b*stard has changed the lock without letting anyone know. Good thing I'm aware of joints recovery as I was very tempted to kick the door in. What an effing liberty to lock us all out of our own garden!
20 minute walk to pub with Mr PIP (using camra discount) where we did some financial planning (checked lottery tickets, amazingly not millionaires yet but soon I'm sure)
Dinner is voucher-utilised M&S stuffed pasta, tomato and basil sauce, and garlic bread. All the noms

I know right?! @EssexHebridean
Especially since I just had to do a dash round mums as she was trying to have a zoom with her friend, and my 'new' laptop that has literally only been used by her once a month for zoom, because her also quite new laptop refuses to have the speakers working, is now giving grey screen of doom. I could not find any way of making either laptop sort their lives out.
I think we all know how I feel about engaging with tech, so that I now have to spend a significant amount of time, energy, and probably a fair chunk of money on getting basic things to do their basic jobs, has not put me in a good mood.
On top of being locked out of the garden, that we have to pay for, that contains my possessions I need so plants don't die, and my joints being sore and me being grumpy about both pain and the reminder of all the life things I haven't and won't ever be able to achieve, and the constant stress about the council and the build and just wanting a home of our own, I am not a happy bunny.
If I kicked the garden door in to get my anger at life out but called it mindfulness surely no-one could object
(We're going to need a bigger door 🦈)3 -
Who is the 🤬 who decided it was a good idea to lock the communal garden door! Why??! Can we all come round to beat them up!Boo to the laptop too, it shouldn’t be failing if it’s quite new 😞
Fingers crossed things will improve soon 🙏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Cheers @Sun_Addict. I do appreciate I may be reacting a tad disproportionately, but only a tad 😁
It's not just someone has locked it, someone has changed the bloody lock! Bet its the housing association and bet we're still charged for garden access and maintenance.
Still, all of these things will be dealt with or lived with. Doesn't mean I don't have the right to be fuming though!

Being in a jolly good grump is good for us every now and again. It releases all those emotions which would otherwise be swallowed. And as all wise minds know having emotions in the tummy means there’s less room for beer which is a terrible thing indeed.0

I would be ringing your HA first thing Monday morning and complaining long and loud. If you find it is them thats cahnged the lock tell them either you get a key or you will be reporting them for theft as you cant access your property that is in the garden.
