Ahem. Hardly lazy. If it’s any consolation I am still in bed 🛌.

  • Thanks and I do agree @EssexHebridean but harrumph all the same!
I'm trying to resist bed @beanielou in case I stay there till spring but that does sound good, enjoy

Managed a shower and hairwash before Mr PIP had to go into work just in case I toppled so at least that's done. I have not checked to see if I look even worse than before by not being able to adequately rinse product from my hair but let's just not look and assume it's fine

Now trying to think of productive things that don't involve movement but all the things that need doing are very movement dependent. I'm willing to practice self care by not doing the washing up but annoying to not be able to get the food shop in.
Obviously I'm grateful I'm not ill, but it is very frustrating feeling fine to get on with things and just not able to. Harrumph, harrumph, harrumph!

Hope you're getting some rest and feel better soon. A day off from doing won't hurt.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Gingerly did a 30 minute walk. Asked in big chain chemist about flu jabs and they said they didn't have any and don't know when they'll get any, which doesn't bode well for winter flu rates, or for the customers their website is allowing to pay for jabs online 😐

Next little chemist did have some but two quid more so left it for now. Annoyingly no superdrugs near me are doing the half price deal.

Anyway, I did get three hair masks reduced to 20p each so that's a small pampering win

Was exhausted after that so had sofa time

Though did book dental check up within the three months of having paid for last thing so included in band treatment- by a fortnight, phew!

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning some dosh please

Will bravely go over to mums to be fed dinner this evening

Hope you are feeling more mobile today, PIP ❤️

Just caught up. Loved that the rug is out.  That discussion really made me think.  I will be doing more decluttering and reusing with that in mind :)

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Happy Friday all, joints still being daft so have had to reluctantly sack off going to this retirement do. Will try to achieve some productivity today but getting on the tube was not feeling like a good idea.

    Have done admin, tidying, comping.
Need to get a (lightweight) chair from mums for an olio collection, and attempt a sink wash.
Then I will attempt a walk but that may turn into sofa time!

Hope everyone's getting this little bit of sun, it really does make things that bit more bearable doesn't it

  • Double yougov survey plus extra points for their ratings survey, so near to cashing out

Posted the omaze 250k flash draw entry before the collection

    Got chair
    Receipt survey
    Sink wash

    Vinted listing.
Screamed at phone camera for rotating a picture so left it at the one listing. I may be feeling a tad grumpy and frustrated about chronic pain condition

25 minute walk, used £2.50 tesco voucher that arrived in post for Mr PIP's stocking lindt bar, a tin of tomatoes, and some spuds

Took some pictures for vinted in case I can at some point list anything without having a temper tantrum

    Went to pub (with discount).
Did some spec work and made a decent start to the free paper crossword

Collected some fancy olio loaves on way back so that will save us a few quid and be a tasty weekend treat

Don't mean to brag about my wild Friday night but put the laundry on

Mr PIP is bringing in chips for dinner when he gets back, hurrah

Get you, with your getting on with the laundry before the weekend! 😉
I’m sorry it’s been a tough day - I hope the Mr PiP foraged chips offset it a bit 😊
