So achey
Ten minute walk to see if I was up to the longer walk to get dinner in. I was not. Mr PIP went and returned with a YS mac cheese which is very pleasing
McMo ends after tomorrow so he's also downloaded the deals that we might plausibly use (10% off train tickets, free Moonpig cards)
Hoping everyone has a restful Sunday evening x

I went to McDonald’s with 3 “tokens” that end tomorrow, that I have had in my purse for a couple of weeks, only to find 2 of them have already been used. Think some cheeky monkey (DS3) used them on his app before I put them in the purse. Checked on my app and I had enough points for a free medium fries, so ended up with 6 nuggets and fries. Not bad as it was free.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.001

I ended up paying for a breakfast roll and tea the last time I went in to use my token. Not the best.1

Very mse of you (and DS3 😁) @amber03
Ha that's how they get you @WelshmansDaughter, never go shopping or McMoing when peckish! I literally never buy Maccas so fortunately I'm too intimidated by their ordering machines to be tempted when I go in to claim free fruit bags 😂
I've re-read that several times @Sun_Addict and nope, just not comprehending. It looks like you said you've never had mac cheese but nope, sorry, brain cannot process
(I quite like cheapo tinned macaroni cheese @WinterWarrior *runs away in disgrace*)3 -
Late in catching up (always think you on the MFW forum). so sorry for your loss(es).
I also had some cash as inheritance and whilst most of it went on living etc I did buy a beautiful instrument that I still have - always a lovely reminderDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
