Some of them are for an immediately redeemable free food item @Baileys_Babe, and others are properties that you try to collect a set of, like in normal monopoly. Different sets have different prize draws, e.g. your fancy properties like Mayfair are for £100k, brown like Whitechapel Road is a selected meal, red like Trafalgar Square is a Merlin annual pass for four, pink like Whitechapel is a TV and soundbar, green like Oxford Street is an electric car, etc. So lots of varied prizes to try to collect towards, and if I only get a couple of portions of fruit bag out of it, that's still some free fruit. And free entertainment for me and Mr PIP while we're walking around!2

My friend who was having lots of tests has had a cardiac arrest, they think brought on by the suspected motor neurone disease. His family are saying their goodbyes. I am in shock, and devastated. I've known him for over twenty years. We've been round his nearly every Christmas eve and met up with him nearly every Christmas day for many of those years. He's one of those rare mates you can sit in pleasurable silence with, both doing the crossword over a pint while enjoying each others company. I am going to miss him so very much.5
