We had to say goodbye. Tests showed rapidly multiplying cancer cells. We're grateful she only had one day of not feeling herself and didn't have extended or severe suffering. We're absolutely heartbroken though. It feels so unreal and so wrong that she's not in any of her spots. The flat is empty without her. Our hearts are heavy tonight.

Better for her that she suffered for such a short time but harder for you as there was no chance to adjust. So sorry to hear this.
