Enjoy the concert and the promise of a glass of wine and relaxing on the sofa at the end of it 🍷I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Thanks all!
Concert was enjoyed, wine after was also enjoyed
We decided not to do car boot sale as it's so unpredictable as to whether you'll have a good or rubbish earnings day that we dont feel we can justify the extra couple of quid when we're trying to get any extra couple of quids in the flat pot.
My friend says she's up for doing it in a few weeks and sharing a table and costs, so today we'll have a proper sort of all the odds and ends we've kept aside and assess what to keep for that, what we can put extra effort into attempting to get a pound or two from elsewhere, and what can go to charity shop/for free on Olio/put outside for passers by
And the rest of the to-do list!
But we did have Olio croissants to start us off right
I love a pottering Sunday, hope everyone has a lovely one 😊3 -
The Sunday things:
Admin comping tidying
Lots of small but niggling bits and bobs off the to-do list
25 minute walk, found three books and a gorgeous plant pot.
Had to leave an extravagant peacock design engraved wood frame mirror on the street on the grounds of space. And carrying. And possibly taste, though I loved it 😁
Mr PIP was very productive and sat down and sorted out his LPA signing order which has been A Task For Us To Have Energy To Do for ages
Mum was very productive and wiped down the old hoover so that Mr PIP could carry it to go on the street with a note saying it was working and people were welcome to it
I was very productive and sorted out the cupboard section of The Things and divided them into for car boot sale, Olio free listing, charity shop, listing on online places
20 minute walk with Mr PIP to have some Sunday afternoon beers (with Camra discount) and we saw that the hoover had been taken; really pleases me that this neighbourhood is a microcosm of how society *should* work- if you can't use or aren't using something, can someone else get use or pleasure or a couple of quid from it, rather than everyone constantly paying for items, and endless things in landfill
Dinner is the big pizza bought with Lidl coupon and onion added as a bit of f&v portion topping

I often get rid of things by advertising them on a local FB group free to pick up. One person even sent me a photo of the desk I’d given her set up in her house 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

We once had a charity shop pick up some large items including a tv. The van driver said the tv was larger and better than his and did we mind if he went home and swapped it 🤭 We said it was fine, a double win really, as he got a newer tv and the charity still got something to sell 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
