That’s dire about the meat moussaka I would be mortified. I once sent back a vegetarian shepherd’s pie in a cafe because I was convinced it had meat in it. It was actually Quorn 😬 Apart from Quorn mince I can’t eat pretend meat, it’s the whole texture thing as well as the look and taste. I haven’t eaten meat for around 38 years and when I did eat it I only ate chicken, minced beef and beef burgers. I still eat fish but it has to be completely free of skin and bones and completely unrecognisable as ever once being a fish 😆That’s interesting about the plant based meats though and very positive after some negative press recently.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Thank you for sharing that article. I am inevitably eating some of the plant based meat ‘bung in the oven’ options as I am so time-poor. This makes me feel less bad about it.

I'd have eaten your moussaka for you!
Seriously though - quite right to complain - that could have been someone with an allergy for example, and does go to show that they're not being as scrupulous as they should on checking what is being sent doesn't it.
Congrats on the PB win too - unsurprisingly I got nothing again this month, but then again as we now have *almost* nothing left in PBs, and most of what we DO have are previous winnings, I'm not going to complain!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Well apparently it's Super Tuesday but I woke up late, ear and throat still not completely better and feeling achy and tired.
Also found out a family friend has died. But at the age of 92 after a short illness and having had a wonderful life so remembering him with gratitude and smiles.
And if you can't trust a woman on the street dressed as a unicorn giving you advance blessings, who can you trust...
So onwards with Super Tuesday
Lo and indeed behold, I realised I have £211 from my friend paying me back ages ago *and* £100 that was previously in investengine, both in the easy access savings account with no designated purpose
Though Just Eat are claiming they can't refund me and I have to report the incident to the council instead. As if it's the council's problem. Not using Just Eat again, first and last time.
But has this derailed Super Tuesday? No!
For I then realised I have £403.68 in my Zopa primary pot that was left over from scared-about-housing-association-charges money
This all means I can pay my outstanding NI years, pay the flat pot up to the next hundred mark, and bung any remainder in the LISA pot and change in the current account 🎉
That is definitely the last of the money to be 'found' but I'm very pleased, thanks Unicorn Woman!

Little bit of work
20 minute walk dropping off charity shop bag
Entered some competitions. Today I'm mostly looking forward to winning a case of wine but I'd also like lots of Easter chocolate please, and as it's Super Tuesday I'll also put a request in for some perfume too thanking you
Mr PIP is treating me to our postponed reunion dinner and I'm dressed up and wearing make-up and everything
Have a Super Tuesday evening everyone!

That’s interesting about the plant based meat @PennysIntoPounds. I’m not much of a fan as some of the fakes are so good they mess with my head and I think I’m eating meat (exactly as you say @Sun_Addict ) but I know lots of people find them really useful so good to have positive news. I was persuaded to try a G*eggs vegan sausage roll last year when I was with a colleague in London and I hated it. But when in Cornwall last summer we went to a wonderful vegan restaurant and I had a burger - it tasted amazing and just like the real thing but I couldn’t get over that and left half. I thought it would have more veg in it.L x2

I have to be careful with pea protein products e.g. Toscos plant based sausages, as they can give me stomach cramps, which is quite common with pea protein apparently.KKAs at 15.07.25:
