Glad you got to meet up with MrPIP.
Friday night beer and pizza is well deserved.Whispers very quietly so virus can't hear, but no so quietly that you can't hear through your whoosh ears "sounds a bit like you are on the mend". Fingers crossed.1 -
I'm so so pleased you met Mr PIP and managed beer. That sounds a positive step on the road to recovery1

Haven’t read all the rest of the thread - just wanted to say THANK YOU for this:
” Why can survey providers not just ask the key question at the start, there's no point in me saying I can see an elephant on a Thursday and have read a book this week if they only want left handed people who've worked on an oil rig in 1994 to answer the bloody thing”
Exactly!!! 🙄😂😂😂👏

Aww, I was in a good mood this morning but it's even better now for knowing that you've seen Mr P at last.1

Thanks for your nice comments all- alas rather tired, two coughing fits in the night. Especially frustrating as I lured Mr PIP here under the apparently false pretence of at least largely being able to sleep through.
And I've somehow got deafer!
But at least phlegm is no longer so yellow it looks like it's leading the Tour de France
Some mse things:
Admin comping tidying
In a surprise twist, a Sainsburys receipt survey as I seem to have got through all the Lidl ones
Didn't walk to Lidl. Bit annoyed at having to renounce a free pastry but not annoyed enough to try to mission it for nearly an hour with no pub to rest in
Not feeling like doing anything which is frustrating as I was so hoping I'd feel loads better today, but I guess people are allowed a lazy day now and then.
Going to put my Lebara voucher on M&S and do a much smaller walk getting some nice dinner in for me and Mr PIP, then maybe have a couple of beers and continue catching up with our news (even though mine for the last few weeks is almost entirely 'felt s****, slept'. It's going to be a riveting conversation on my side). Then possibly a nap before bedtime. It is SO tiring not being able to hear on top of general virus exhaustion
I'm sure this is just the extra coughing and tiredness and deafness before being extremely improved tomorrow though. Yep. Definitely.
Oh and I've borrowed an oversized black and white houndstooth print coat from mum so at least I look marvellous even if I feel far from it!
Have a lovely Saturday everyone x

Glad you are feeling a bit better @PennysIntoPounds although it sounds like a horrendous virus - I hope you continue to improve.

Coat sounds fabulous. I feel it requires a fuchsia-coloured hat. Glad you have improved a little bit. Hope the deafness starts to clear soon. What a vile lergy it has been.

I've really not been impressed with the bakery freebies, all sweet. Mind you as the first one I got said "cookies" I expected a pack not just one!. I've let one lapse (, syrup filled yum-yum) and given a Portuguese custard tart to a friend. This offer isn't working for me sadly0
