I'm glad you're starting to feel more human. It's taking some shifting this virus. Good luck with winning the £500.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

The HT has had whatever you've had too. He managed three days in uni this week (one day of six hours and two days of one hour each) before giving up and not managing day four on Thursday. This was after being ill for eleven days. He is still wandering around carrying one of those menthol sniffing sticks for noses and debating if he's ever going to feel well again.
I hope that you are on an upwards curve now. I'm fairly sure that the HT is as he fancied a doughnut today for the first time in ages.2 -
Glad to hear you are starting to feel a little better and that you get to see Mr PIP.

Thank you @Sun_Addict, I feel like I've been ill the whole of winter, have told Mr PIP we need to find funds to get a place in South of France or Spain for overwintering. I love the changing of the seasons but I cant be doing with this level of disrespect 😂
Cheers @foxgloves, here's hoping! *Mustn't spend it all on books and wine, mustn't spend it all on books and wine* 😁
Hope HT recovers soon @CRANKY40, wanting a doughnut is a very good sign indeed!
I think I've said previously but I can't remember a winter this bad for so many people being so ill, it'll be interesting if any mass virology results come out
Thank you @ladyholly, he's been warned I'm not much fun or use at the moment but we're looking forward to our posh meal out when I'm a bit better- with my ears still being bad I'm even more uncoordinated than usual, and feel overwhelmed just walking down the street so want to be able to enjoy my surroundings when we have our date night out (and not make more of a fool of myself than necessary!)2 -
The rest of Friday:
Did a bit of a little lie down and reading
Vinted updates
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 2k but I'd also like some fancy bedding
Shower and hairwash
Couple of receipt surveys
Met Mr PIP and had beer! Very pleased. Also very tired 😁 Going to have the big pizza for dinner that I got from Lidl before it callously closed, that's been in the freezer waiting for me to provide dinner with minimum energy. Thanks past me, thanks pizzas, thanks freezers 👍
