There’s no shortcut button to get back to the list of boards. I now have to click ‘Home’ and then ‘All Boards’, which is time-consuming and irritating. I can’t understand how something so fundamental has been missed.Everything is too spaced out. It takes far too much time scrolling to read a thread. The wrong things are bolded ie; usernames, post count, badges. These things might be important on the likes of instagram but not on a forum. It’s the content that matters. On the positive side, the site now fills the screen on my iPad. Previously it was all shoved to the right with empty space on the left. However, despite using twice the space, it now takes much longer to read.5

I can't find one thing that is better than the old layout. Please provide a way for people to choose which format to use. I used to read this forum every day but it's too much like hard work to read now.

Does not work for me. I keep getting a drop-down/pop-up covering over the post that I am reading . The text, on a white background, states:"Forum Home, My Profile, All Boards, Followed Content, Latest Threads,Bookmarked Threads,My Threads,My Replies and My Drafts."I see no way of closing it without going to Forum Home again (moving my mouse off it does not cause it to go away).Really Not Very Good.Running Firefox for Mint 113.0.2 (64 bit)1

It might be easier for phone users, but on the iPad I have to scroll through a lot more pages. It is much more spread out. It gets tedious very quickly.
It is annoying to open a thread, and have to scroll for for yards to get to the option to move to the current page, see the opening page of the July grocery challenge with lists of members and the index of recipes. A pages link at the beginning and end would help.
Voting with my feet. Bye.1 -
Really difficult to read now after only a short while everything is starting to look blurry and giving me a headache. Clickable links on posts not much different in colour to normal text making you have to look twice. Fonts and colour choices really not good at all.
Everything too spaced out taking ages to just scroll through a few comments.
Taking 12 scrolls just to get to the bottom of the main forums page far too much scrolling to get through.
Quick links on the right hand side is ok until you have got to the bottom of the page and then you need to scroll all the way back up just to get to it as there is so much empty space.
Far too bright and white which is not good for the eyes.
Tried on phone and same on there far too much scrolling to get to where you want to get to.3 -

Not going to tell you how I voted.
The poll is still open but the discussion is closed. (After typing this I can't find where I was in the discussion - something else broken!)

My main problem is that every time my mouse drifts over the Quick LInks or Categories headers a whole raft of menu items obscures the whole page and I have to perform large mouse gyrations to make them go away so I can carry on.

Did MSE do any testing with a group of existing users?
Much harder to read and navigate. Too much white space. Takes much longer to navigate than the previous version.
If it's not broke why fix it? Please can we revert back to the former design?

Not a fan!! Sorry!!
Expect the worst, hope for the best, and take what comes!!:o1 -
I have lost my very useful list of bookmarks up beside Notifications (which never worked anyway) and Messages, which would show me which bookmarked topics have unread posts, a facility which I used almost every day.
