Good morning guys, I hope you're OK? I personally'd had enough of this week by 8pm last night but I'm out with the girls tonight so I hope that will brighten my mood somewhat.
I am less stressed this week though, things seem to be settling down so that's good. All I can do is keep smiling and crack on with it.
Finance wise, things are looking good. Not spent anything so far this week and driving tonight so won't be too spendy... Should have some budget left on Friday to add to the sealed pot or the sinking funds.
My PAD this morning was £5 to the sabbatical and £15 to the travel binder. Tomorrow will see dice rolls to the sealed pot as it's Wednesday... I'm also working from the actual-real-life-office tomorrow, so will need to buy some lunch but again it won't be too spendy. Will be nice to see colleagues faces
That's all from me today, I hope you're all having a good start to the week.

Mooooorning!
My plans cancelled last night so yesterday was an unexpected NSD, I'm also not going to the office today so it'll be another one today. Defo need to get out for fresh air at lunchtime if I can though.
I have added £5 to the sabbatical as usual this morning, and £81 to the sealed pot courtesy of some mean dice rolls. Just one more set of dice rolls to do before we open the sealed pot next week... anything could happen! Well, any amount up to £146 if I roll all the top values, with is unlikely to be honest.
That's pretty much it from me this week. It's a boring one isn't it? I'm not spending any money though, which is good...
A task for today is to make a start on Christmas cards and present lists, I have 6 weeks to get it all done and wrapped as I don't do any of that in December, I like to free up December for friends, family and festivities
Take care
LMD x

For the last 3 years now I’ve had a stress free December, the only thing I worry about now is the grocery shop.Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25712 -
I had my day off yesterday which was nice, and we went over to Doncaster to do a bit of shopping and have some lunch. A change of scene was nice, although I wore shoes to match my outfit and not to match walking around the city and therefore I have some pretty painful blisters today...
It was quite a spendy day yesterday but today will be a NSD as we have no plans this evening.
In terms of PADding, I made my PAD but forgot to post yesterday *insert face-palm emoji*. However today I have declared... as well as the £5 to the sabbatical as usual, I've sent £52 to savings/sinking funds.
This time next week the sealed pot will be 'open'...I'm still working on my Christmas present and card lists and I have also been given the task of organising my stepdaughters birthday next year so I need to start thinking about a venue for that.
Also, work is manic - speaking of which, I'd better crack on.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Happy Monday guys, it's an exciting week this week as the sealed pot is opened on Thursday and then it's pay day on Friday - wooohoooo
The weekend was very spendy, I had 2 events to go to so I knew it would be an expensive weekend. Never mind... Every now and then doesn't hurt does it? And there has been plenty of cancelled plans and very low spend nights out since we got back from holiday.
Today will be a NSD, I'm working long hours and I need to get some life admin done this evening. Work has been more than a little crazy lately so that's not helped with the stress levels. My PAD this morning was just the £5 to the sabbatical as usual.
And that's it, you're all caught up
Hope you all had a lovely weekend

Much better to enjoy good times making memories than sit at home not spending. You’ve paid off your debts now it’s time to enjoy yourself. You save more than most so you deserve some fun.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Thanks both
Yes @Sun_Addict you're right, I should embrace the events and memory making whilst I still can. I was at a baby shower at the weekend and it was so much fun
I ended up having a really good day yesterday, but stayed up too late and now I'm paying the price. I feel like I could crawl back to bed...it's even worse when you're the only one up and awake - even the dog is snoring!
So, on to the finances. It won't be a NSD for me today as I am out to meet a friend for dinner this evening, nothing fancy but it will be nice to catch up as we haven't seen each other for ages. My PAD was the usual £5 to the sabbatical fund, which is still growing steadily in the background without me even thinking about it, it's currently at £1867 and should reach £2k by the end of November. If you'd have said 3 years ago that I could save £2k without noticing I would have laughed my head off! How things have changed
Right, I'm off to work. Hope you have fabulous Tuesday's!
