Mainly saving challenges from cash budgeter's etsy stores.  The dice challenge has worked well for me and I've done a few sticker challenges and scratch offs. I like that it turns saving into a bit of a game.

Hi all and happy Friday! I hope you've all had a decent week? It's starting to settle back down now in the house of Determined...Whilst things have changed on a permanent basis, we are getting back to a normal routine rather than a state of upheaval  

I've been sorting the accounts and budget today, it's pay day for me so there's been some moving of money between accounts and my PAD is £430.96 to savings. The budget is planned for the next month, so we will see what happens there. I'm away at the end of November, but after pay day so that should be OK, plus that trip is funded by the sealed pot. 

It's a no spend day for me today, I don't have plans, there's left overs for lunch and I'm stacked at work.  That's it in terms of updates. I hope you all have a fab weekend!

Good morning, I had Monday off this week so it was a lovely long weekend and yesterday was time spent with family which I always enjoy.  I spent some of my sealed pot yesterday on some of the bigger Christmas presents, but that's what its intended purpose is so I can't complain about that.

Today will be a NSD for me, it's a long shift and we have no plans this evening. I have sent the usual £5 to the sabbatical as my PAD.  I need to update my signature, as I've already started 2025 sealed pot, even though the challenge thread isn't up yet.

Good morning and happy Wednesday, it's dice roll day for me so I have added £85 to the sealed pot in dice rolls this morning. All well and good at the start of the month, but as the accounts run low I may have to skip that pesky percentage dice with the risk of rolling up to £90! 

Anyway, today will be a NSD for me, I have another long shift and some major project work is keeping me very busy at the moment so definitely no time for spending. Same tomorrow I should think, although I am out on Friday and on Saturday so will be spending then. 

I'm pleased to say I've done a recce and I've now done most of my Christmas shopping, just 3 more gifts to get and then the wrapping will all be done at the end of November. Happy days

oh my goodness, your nearly finished you xmas shopping! 

Reading this has made me remember my dream last night, it was the day before xmas eve and I was still out buying bits and then it was xmas eve and i realised i still nedeed a few more presents, And i was cross with myself as I had planeed on being organised and taking a leaf out of your book to get it all done by decemeber so I can enjoy the build up haha!!

(The other wird bit of my dream was I went into either whsm!th or Arg@s, or it was a weird mix of both and was cross with the staff that I couldnt get into the loft!!!! THe hatch was closed and they said no one could go into the loft its was closed until after xmas. I told them that I had stashed all my kids xmas presents up there and I needed them today!!

So they got the ladder down and gave me a head torch so I could get them!!!!!!) Arn't dreams wierd!

No, but ive been on a right coctail of drugs since i was in hospital!!! MY head has gone a bit wierd!

Morning everyone and "Happy Halloween"  I hope everyone is having a good week?

So, I've another busy day of work and there's no time for any spending, so it will be a final NSD for October for me today. I've set a target of 18 NSDs in November as I have my girls shopping trip at the end of the month, and I still need a few Christmas presents... hopefully that will be achievable. 

I need to get cleaned up today as DSD's boyfriend is coming to stay this weekend and hubby has been on night shift so I can't get much done in my lunch break. 

Tomorrow we have to pay for the holiday so the savings will take a hit, but that's exactly what the sealed pot is intended for so I don't think I can complain really!

Today's PAD is just the £5 to the sabbatical. Should hit £2k by the end of this month in there
