I’ve been rough all week too LMD. Got the T20 cricket finals day tomorrow in Birmingham so need to be well enough to go. Both West Country counties, Somerset and Gloucestershire, will be there so it promises to be great fun. Unlike football the supporters of rival teamscan mix freely together so it promises to be great fun.
Keep resting and get yourself better in time for your holiday. Better for you to be below par this week than on your holiday week.

Hi all, thank you all so much for the get well wishes, sorry to hear you've been poorly too Antomac - did you manage to enjoy the cricket?

I am feeling better today and thankful it's going before we head off on holiday. Only 2 days to go now so it's getting quite exciting :)  It wasn't a NSD for me yesterday as I needed to get some last minute bits and I had my nails done.  Today is though - yay

Today I have PADded £5 to the sabbatical fund as usual, although I will be taking a break from PADding whilst I'm on holiday and will be back on it from 2nd October.

Off to make us a Sunday roast now, before a relaxing night in front of the telly.
Hope everyone is doing well :)

Cricket was good thanks LMD, although Gloucestershire won, which as a Somerset fan wasn’t quite the result I wanted  :|

Good that you’re getting better BEFORE your holiday rather than being rough when you’re away

  • Good morning, it's holiday eve and I have been awake since 3am.  I'm starting work early in the hope I can get a flyer this afternoon as I need to take the dog to the sitters.

It's not a NSD for me as I need to pay the pet sitter. I've PADded my usual £5 to the sabbatical and then I've also moved extra funds from my main and spends account to savings (£85 there).

So that's it, I will see you in a few week's time. I'm not PADding whilst away nor updating...I will be too busy enjoying myself, trying to get driver's autographs and watchng the Kylie concert after qualifying on Saturday.

Just need 4pm to arrive now so the out of office can go on :D
Have lovely days, wonderful weeks and a fabulous rest of the month.

  • Hi all

I'm back from holiday and we have had an absolutely fantastic time. Definitely one we will remember for certain and the tour company we booked with were brilliant so I think we will use them again.  It was so well organised and it made me worry a lot less than I would normally.

I have managed to catch a cold on the plane home so on top of the jet lag and my stomach not being in line with UK meal times I'm not feeling brill. It'll come right I'm sure.

So, I didn't spend as much as I budgeted for and I have £300 is spare which I will roll over to our January holiday as that needs to be paid on 31st October...I will have opened the sealed pot by then too so it won't be an issue really.

Today's PAD (late I know) is £1234.72 and includes a payment to the sabbatical as well as £63 from the dice rolls today which has been added to the sealed pot.

That's it from me, glad to be back :)
