Now for a healthier, wealthier me

Hello everyone, I had a very poor nights sleep last night and I only just managed to get out of bed to attend my first call of the day. Not my usual practice and if I wasn't working from home I would have been calling in sick as I am definitely not functioning at my best.
We are out tonight too so it's probably not going to be an early finish, although I am driving so at least booze won't be added into the mix! On the plus side, hubby is paying tonight as I have paid for our airport lounge (I booked that on Tuesday) for when we go away. We fly from Manchester and it's an airport neither of us actually like to fly from so tucking ourselves away with a guaranteed seat and charging point will be ideal. It's an unexpected NSD for me then today!
PAD was just £5 to the sabbatical fund, which continues to grow steadily, almost half way to my mini-target now and the good thing is that I don't notice it. especially as it's auto scheduled to be moved to savings every day.
That's all from me, so despite my feeling shattered, it's a financially positive post!

Hi all, just a quick update from me between calls... I don't remember when Fridays became so busy but it'[s definitely not a great way to end the week!
It's another NSD for me today, no plans to go anywhere, and the PAD was £5 to my sabbatical as ususal.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend ahead!

Good morning everyone and happy Monday! This weekend went by very quickly but we were very busy sorting the garden so neither of us feels very rested to be honest. Given that we were busy at home, it wasn't a very spendy weekend so that was a bonus.
It's a NSD for me today as I have no plans, will be out tomorrow as usual but I am driving so again it won't be too costly. It's pay day on Friday and I am looking forward to that as always!
Today's PAD included the usual £5 to the sabbatical and as it's Monday I have stuffed the 26 envelope for the envelope challenge. I try to do larger ones at the start of the pay period and then smaller ones at the end.
That's all from me today, I hope everyone had a great weekend and made the most of the lovely weather.

Hi all, hope you're having a good week?
I have a busy week this week, I have friends coming to stay as my OH is away with his friends for a few days. It won't be spendy though as we are just chilling at home and having a but of a pamper, making use of the hot tub etc. I have a few days off, so that will be nice, although what I will go back to on Friday is anyone's guess.
Today's PAD is just £5 to the sabbatical, not much left now as we are heading to pay day. Not a NSD as I am out tonight as usual. No more plans until Friday when we are off to the cinema but that's hubby's treat so may still be a NSD for me - whoop!
Have good days

Good morning guys, I hope you're doing OK? Bit later for me today as I am a lady of leisure today and tomorrow (well not really but no work for me anyway) so I slept in a little. I'm sure I will regret it later when I am frantically stripping and remaking guest beds
Anyway, it's a NSD for me, as plans are to stay here and pamper which is good in my book! It's dice rolls day and the percentile dice stung me again with £70!!! So £114 has been sent to the sealed pot, along with £6 in coins to my savings challenge and the usual £5 to the sabbatical.
So that's it from me today... Going to finish my coffee and then have a whizz round with the vacuum and get those beds sorted. No rest for the wicked!
Have lovely days!

Hello everyone, I'm sorry I have been AWOL but life really did get in the way last week and I just didn't have time for any online stuff.
Friday was pay day and I did manage to plan my August budget so at least I know what's what. We enjoyed the cinema on Friday, it was Deadpool & Wolverine and I am a huge fan, I loved it! (no spoilers here)
So, my savings pots are growing again after paying for the holiday last month, I'm surprised at how much I am managing to squirrel away... Although at the weekend we have booked a family holiday for next Easter to the canaries and because it's in the school holiday it's more expensive than we would usually pay. Next job is to make a travel savings binder for that holiday so it's on the list of sinking funds.
I don't think there's much else to update on, my sabbatical is ticking along nicely, tomorrow it will hit £1500 so 50% to the mini-target which is great, considering I don't notice the payments going each day. Today I have added £43 to the envelope challenge, I have just 8 envelopes left to fill and then that challenge is completed. Ooh speaking of completed, on Friday I completed the 1p challenge too. All of these go to the sealed pot so that's why I'm doing well with that this year - as well as my dice challenges on Wednesdays.
Anyway, today is a NSD for me - whoop! I should get a few in this week so that's great for the first week of the month.
Off to work now, hope you have fab days!

Good morning! Not much to update on today really... it's not a NSD as I am out tonight as usual for a Tuesday. Also my PAD was only the £5 to the sabbatical so nothing exciting there.
I do need to update my signature as it's been ages since I did, there's far more in the sealed pot now for a start!
Off to do that before work

Gooood morning everyone! Happy Wednesday to you all, I woke up early this morning and I'm feeling pretty good. Although last night was cancelled, it wasn't a NSD as I bought the train tickets to the airport for our holiday. I'd allocated £100 for that but they were actually only £24 so I moved the remaining budget to the folder for my Black Friday trip as the main holiday categories now fully funded or paid for.
I suppose the good thing is that I didn't use any of my monthly spending budget yesterday.
So, today WILL be a NSD as we have no plans and I have a pretty full on work day ahead of me. My PAD included £5 to the sabbatical and £93 to the sealed pot from the dice challenge, percentile was 60 today so not as bad as it could have been.
That's pretty much it from me, thanks for the comment @lucielle, I agree it's starting to look pretty good and I'm beginning to feel proud
Have great days!
