  • Good morning!  Sorry I am late again but it's just been one of those mornings where I have struggled and time has just slipped away from me... admittedly some of the morning was spent watching a woodpecker on my bird feeder :D

So, last night was lovely and my grand total spent because I was driving was just £8.20 so I am rather pleased with that.  This morning I have done my dice rolls and my % dice stung me for £70, so that was £110 in total to the sealed pot - ouch!  I've also sent the usual £5 to the sabbatical fund.

That's about it from me, no plans now until Saturday when we go out but the weather is looking to be awful so if we do go out it probably will only be for a few hours.

The dice rolls this morning does mean that my sealed pot has now smashed through to the £4k mark which is very exciting! I will need to print off a new tracker for it as I only printed myself 4x £1k trackers...

That's a job for lunch time

  • Well, happy Thursday everyone! I've already had an hour in the gym this morning so I am feeling super-awake :)  Whenever I get up early I start to think I should join the 5am club to get more stuff done..but I'm inherently lazy so I never do :D

Finances... hubby has been paid today so the account is looking well again. Nothing coming out though so it's a NSD for me. My PAD was £5 to the sabbatical as usual.

I was thrilled last night at the football result, I wasn't expecting a win in regular time so I was delighted at the last minute winner :)   I am not very confident about the final on Sunday but even to be in the final is a bonus.

That's all from me today, I hope you're all doing well

  • I am late today, but I have stuff going on in real life which has taken up my time this morning, so sorry about that... It's a bit of a boring day today as there's nothing happening in the accounts and I'm not going out so it's a no spend day for me...

PAD was £5 to the sabbatical fund as usual.

Work is mental again at the minute so I am really looking forward to some down-time at the weekend...until it all starts again on Monday.  When can I retire?!?!?! :(

Sorry to end the weekend on a negative note, I am still very much focussed and saving away as much as I can, I assure you!

Hope you all have great weekends

Don't you just hate it when real life takes over and you don't have time to post or do finances. I get really cross with myself when I can't get online and up date things, even though I am trying to have less screen time. But I think its certain apps that I need to restrict...the dreaded FB being the main one. If it wasn't for the fact that my exercise group is on there, I would delete it from my phone and on/y check it once a day when I have lap top on.
Have a good weekend, and here's to the retirement coming sooner rather than later.

    I certainly hope so :)

I hope everyone is doing well and had a great weekend? I was disappointed with the football result but I wasn't surprised really.  We have had a busy weekend and Saturday was quite spendy as we went out to the Pride festival for the afternoon for food and drinks.

Today is a NSD for me, as was yesterday... recovering from Saturday to be honest! My PAD this morning included £5 to the sabbatical as usual and £34 to my envelope challenge.  I only have 11 more left to fill before it's complete :)

I hope everyone has a good day, the sun is shining here which is a nice change!

Good morning! I was up really early today and not having to start work until 9am as I have late calls today... So I feel like I've got loads done already this morning, I'm definitely bright eyed and bushy tailed!  Even the horrid weather can't dampen my spirits today.

So, when I was on holiday I may or may not (definitely did) have purchased Budget with Ira's £10k challenge and within my PAD today I have added £10 to that and £5 to the sabbatical as usual. It feels like I have lots of savings challenges but as long as it's all being saved I am not going to grumble. I've been planning my August budget this morning too so that's all been sorted ready for pay day (still 10 days away unfortunately)

It's not a NSD for me today as I am off out tonight with the girls for a bit. Haven't decided if I'm driving or not yet but either way it won't be too spendy, I do have most of my cash budget still available this week too so some will end up in savings challenges on Friday no doubt.

Even though I have paid for the holiday, it's nice to see the savings amount creeping back up again :)  Just need to save for my holiday sinking funds now that the main spending money has been set aside ready. I'm sure it will be here before I know it.

I've definitely waffled on too long this morning!
Hope you all have good days!

  • Morning guys, it's a beautiful day here in sunny Yorkshire, the birds are in fine song too!

It will only be a quick one this morning as I have my first call in 6 minutes...

PAD was £5 to the sabbatical and £115 to the sealed pot from dice rolls - the % dice got me again with 80!!  It's a NSD for me today though so that's a bonus.

I'd forgotten that we have arranged to go out with friends for dinner tomorrow evening, good job Hubby's brain is working this week :D

That's it from me, hope you're all good!
