  • Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a good week?  Today is pay day for me so I have been moving money around this morning and making sure my budget for the month ahead is accurate.

It's another NSD for me today, aside from sorting the budget there's no plans. I need to get my cash out for next months cash budget but that's not spending and I'll do that when I take the dog for a walk later on.

Today's PAD included £61.38 to the 1p challenge, £5 to the sabbatical, and £650 to savings.  There may be more to shuffle around later or perhaps I will leave that until tomorrow as I have to get on with work now.  It's a later start for me as I have late calls today that I need to attend.

That's pretty much all from me, I'm very thankful for the love you've given my travel binder, I really do appreciate it! The idea is shamelessly 'borrowed' from Iris budgets on you tube so I can't claim the creativity at all.

    Have wonderful days

  • Happy Friday guys! I hope you're all doing OK and have had a good week?  I will be activating the out of office at 4pm and cracking open a beer or 2... A week away with family is just what we need right now I think, even if the weather forecast isn't looking too clever.

Today will be the last NSD of June, I think that's 19 which is 1 above target so that's good. As we are away next week and I have a couple of events in July I have set a target of 15 which I think is reasonable.

Today's PAD included £5 to the sabbatical, nothing much will happen on the accounts until Monday when the mortgage comes out...

That's all from me at the moment, it's a relatively quiet day.  Not sure if I will post whilst away yet, I think it depends on what's happening.  i will be PADding and declaring any NSD's as normal thouggh.

Hope you all have lovely weekends ahead

But isn't that a good feeling, to know that you have paid it, and all without using a credit card?  Sounds very exciting to me

Thank you for making me acknowledge the positive side of it! I know it's a massive achievement and I should be feeling proud. :)

Paying out large sums of money is always heart-breaking, however you have a wonderful holiday to look forward to .

  • Good afternoon everyone, I am back from my hols and was feeling great until I saw my email inbox and calendar this morning... Just catching up and having a bite to eat before more calls this afternoon.  We didn't have very good weather at all, but even the dog didn't mind the rain by the time the week was over.

So, I PADded whilst I was on holiday to the usual sabbatical pot, £5 has also been sent there today. My savings account is now looking quite sorry for itself, but I have paid the next holiday off and already have my spending money saved for that.  Sinking funds are quite healthy too, so that's all good.

This morning I added £43 to the envelope challenge so that's been put towards the sealed pot, I'm amazed how much that's grown since January, with the dice challenge and envelopes... I am very nearly almost at £4k!

Anyways, that's my update for you. Not exactly exciting but I'll get back to daily updates now I'm back. I hope you're all doing OK?

  • Well, it looks like the weather has followed me back from Wales... its awful this morning and I can't persuade the pooch to venture out into the garden... I'll have to take him out on the lead in a short while!

It's close to hubby's pay day so the bills account is looking very sparse at the moment, no bills due until Friday though so that's OK as he will be paid by then.

Yesterday was a NSD for me, not today though as I am out with the girls, not sure yet if I am driving but I have some money in my social fund to see me right tonight.  Then no plans until Saturday when we are off into town for the Pride celebrations.

Today's PAD was just £5 to the sabbatical, dice rolls tomorrow will see more sent to the sealed pot and hopefully tip the £4k mark - unless I roll all 1's hahahaha!

That's it from me, I hope you all have a lovely day!
