  • Good morning, we had some heavy rain overnight which woke me up and I'm definitely feeling sleep deprived this morning... Think it will be an early night tonight.... as I type this it's just started raining again! Oh joy - it's blummin' June on Saturday, I think someone needs to tell the sky! :D

I've PADded £10 today, which is £5 to the sabbatical and £5 monthly charity DD to the air ambulance.  It's a NSD for me today though so that's a bonus, no plans to spend tomorrow either which is good considering the big spends lately on the barbecue and the glasses.  I do feel these were sensible spends though and not frivolous.

So, that's it from me. It's a busy day at work ahead so off to get more coffee!

It really is.  We have tickets to an open air concert on 23rd June so I am hoping it's going to be nice for then!

  • Good morning all, and happy Friday... Weather is still rubbish and I've had to put the lights on it's so dark!

Today will be a NSD for me, I have no spending plans and I've put left over cash from last week into savings challenges so my total PAD today was £63, not too bad really!

I'm hoping to get some housework ticked off the list today as I am going to see my dad this weekend for his birthday so it will leave OH with a clean house and I'm hoping it will stay that way for when I get back! I'm not holding my breath though...

That's it from me, I think next week will also be quiet so I am hoping to get a few NSDs there.
    Have great weekends!

  • Merry Monday everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely weekend?

My weekend was exceptionally spendy, I bought myself some holiday clothes and I also bought gifts for family and we had meals out.  I was away for the weekend until yesterday morning, so some of my savings have been used, I've also used most of my cash for the week already - good job I have a social sinking funds pot for when I go out tomorrow night.

I didn't get chance to post my PAD's over the weekend, but the daily £5 to the sabbatical comes out anyway so it still builds up. Today's the first working day of the month so the accounts are looking a bit sad :(

It's still busy for me today and I feel like there aren't enough hours in the day at the moment so I'm going to crack on

  • Hi all, I have almost back to back calls today so taking a few minutes to check in. It's a quiet day today with a PAD of just £5 going to the sabbatical fund.

It's not a NSD for me today as I am out tonight. I'm also meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow but I have a voucher so won't actually be spending cash. Bonus!

I am looking forward to next week when a, I have some time off and b, work should be quieter when I am in the office. It feels relentless at the moment and I am ready for a break.

    Hope you're all doing well.

  • Hi all, found time for a coffee break and have updated my finances. It's dice roll day today so I have sent £45 to the dice challenges and £5 to the sabbatical.

I am out to lunch today but have the voucher so it will still be a NSD.  No plans for the rest of the week so there won't be any more spends.  It will actually be lovely to go out for lunch and take a proper break from work.  I have a little gift for my friend so I'm looking forward to giving that to her.

Not much else to add today, hope you're all doing well

  • I totally forgot to mention that I sorted the broadband out yesterday, our contract was over and the price was going to almost double to £68 a month.  I called them and got it reduced back to £37 a month for the next 18 months. Same speeds and package.

I am proud of myself. :)

Thanks, we did have a lovely lunch and catch up.  We need to meet up more often, even if it's just popping round for coffee and a chat.
