  • Well, happy Monday everyone! This year is already speeding by, although I am really looking forward to better weather and lighter days. I had a lovely weekend of no plans and no spending!

Today will also be a NSD for me, no plans after work and no desire to spend. My PAD this morning was £5 to the sabbatical as usual. I'm enjoying counting up this month, especially as it's so busy on the thread at the moment, I hope it continues!

Not much to share at the moment, this coming week is spendy as I have 2 nights out and then on Saturday we are out for a posh meal to celebrate Valentines day. It's somewhere we have wanted to go for ages so I am really looking forward to that.

Hope you all have lovely days!

  • Hi all, happy Tuesday. I didn't want to get out of bed this morning so I am on the back-foot already and playing catch up. This weather is totally rubbish and I can't wait for summer again.

I'm off to the gym soon for a session and I think I've got to the point where the diet food is making me start to feel glum. Fortunately I have a nice posh meal planned for Valentines which should make me feel better.

Anyway, today's not a NSD as I am out tonight as usual. The PAD included £5 to the sabbatical as usual, we will be rolling the dice tomorrow to see what we can save.

Hope you all have a lovely day

I had the same feeling with the diet food LMD. I did lose 10 or 11 pounds over the last month though, so it was worth it. It’s just no fun doing it permanently so I’m being a bit more ‘relaxed’ for a few days now 🙂

  • Don't get me wrong Ant, it's working but it's just so boring! 😂

Happy Wednesday peeps, I hope you're OK despite the gloomy and miserable weather. Just a quick update from me today as I am super busy and have my first meeting in 4 minutes.

It's a NSD for me today, no plans :)

PAD was £115.85 in total with money going to the sealed pot, 10k saver and the usual £5 to the sabbatical. The dice rolls were £76 this morning which did sting a bit!

    Have lovely days!

  • Hi all, happy Thursday! So glad it's almost the weekend. I do think this week has passed quickly though, it seems faster as I get older.

Today isn't a NSD for me, it's my day off and I have an awful lot to do, I have to do the grocery shopping this morning, a medical appointment later which will include extortionate parking rates at the hospital and then this evening I am out for dinner for a friends birthday meal. I also need to put fuel in the car, a job I really don't enjoy. I also have some garden tasks to get done if the weather holds.

I have PADded £54 today, which included the usual auto payment to the sabbatical and then £49 to the envelope challenge. it's all adding up in the coffers to replace the many holiday payments I have made this month for the many holidays I have booked.

Speaking of books, I have finally finished book 11 and I'm already on chapter 2 of book 12. The last one was such hard work, it was written as a series of 'sent' emails so you never felt like you had the whole story. Very strange. A format to avoid in the future for me I think.

Anyway, that's all from me I have a lot to do today so I better get a crack on.

    Have nice days

  • I'm sorry I have been AWOL, unfortunately I am having a flare up of chronic pain and I'm currently on crutches and not able to get about much. I'm therefore feeling sorry for myself and not doing much. I did still drag myself out for the valentines meal as it was somewhere we have been wanting to go for over a year. I;m glad we did, it was wonderful but very expensive so we won't be going on a regular basis.

I'm not going out tonight either. I can't currently drive so it's limiting me from doing much. I do have meds so hopefully I will be over it in another few days.

Anyway, I have still been PADding and counter-uppering every day 😊 today's PAD is just £5 to the sabbatical, we will see what the dice have to say in the morning!

Book 12 has been finished and I've started 13. It is a long book and has tiny writing so it might take me some time…

That's it from me. Life is life-ing and I'm plodding on at the moment.
